Jonathan’s Dad –
I’m giving this item a 5 * because it is well made. The metal quality and finish appear to be very good and I couldn’t fault it from close inspection. Unfortunately, I have to return mine as it was not suitable for my purpose. I bought a 82mm ND Filter to use with the step-up ring stack hoping that this will be a “one-size-fits-all”. Unfortunately, there was just a blob (of darkness) in the middle of the image especially at wide angle. The considerable distance built up with the step-up rings between the lens and the filter may have something to do with the blob. I just couldn’t get an edge to edge ND on my image. I reckon that the filter would be OK if used without step-up rings.

The rings will get stuck together rendering then useless. I was unable to separate them using a clamp or cloth. Due to the thinness of them (great at first) they eventually got too stuck together and unusable where I just quit using them and got rid of the whole set.

Filters for cameras are expensive and when you have a few lenses, they are not all the same size. These metal stepping adapter rings make it easy to use a filter from one lens on another. Useful tool.

S’adapter parfaitement m’a permis d’utiliser un filtre ND sur toutes mes grandeurs de lentilles vraiment très satisfait du produit je recommande

Works as intended, the value was fine, quality is good, removing them for the first time required a little bit of extra force, but when using them with filters and my lenses I’ve had no issues removing them.
An included pouch would have been nice.

Great step adapter. All you need for a good price. I can change lenses without a problem. And I have all the adapters too! Love this!

don’t waste your time in stores purchasing similar products as they will cost you much more. this has all the sizes that you will ever need.

works as advertised. so far i’ve only used the 55-58 and it is a little hard to get on/off. I have a nikon lens. i accidentally dropped them on the tile floor. paint didn’t even chip off so ig the quality is good.

Received this order in 2 days. Pleasant surprise. These step up and down rings work as they should. Metal rings threads fir my lens no problem. Its nice not having to have a bunch of different filters in the bag when you can use one size on all your lenses. Good value for the price.

Like most of us vloggers we have a selection of lenses and on the bright sunny days we need to use ND Filters, these step up and step down rings have allowed me to use the 1 Variable ND filter accross 4 different lenses that all have different threads. This has saved me having to purchase a seperate size ND Filter for each lens. My outdoor videos on my YouTube channel have never looked so good! Really pleased and would recommend to all.

I bought these after a change of camera system. Having previously owned three Nikon lenses with the same filter thread size, my change to a Fuji system resulted in lenses with different filter thread sizes.
After a little head-scratching, I realised this was the best solution so now I have a set of filters with a 72mm thread and just use one or two of the step-up rings to adapt them to the smaller lenses.
The smallest lens needs three of the rings to adapt to the filter and they are smooth to screw and unscrew. Combining two or three at a time and then separating them again has not been an issue.
I would highly recommend this well-made set.

These arrived in good condition, in 4 stacks to nest/save space. None were overtightened, it felt like some care had gone into this, with each ring screwed in enough to keep them together without risking binding.
If I were to be picky, each of the two sets (up/down) came in a very cheap plastic bag and my bags had cuts in them, so not really suitable for continued storage. But I guess storage of filters or these rings is a personal thing, so not really worth the manufacturer including a nice pouch.

I bought these quite a while ago for an nd filter as they where cheap, but only just got around to using it. The top step up filters work great. but some are impossible to remove, I mean, I had to scratch the step up filter, and almost break it to get it off of the other ring.
Quality control needed. I’m actually struggling to put the rings onto my 30mm f 1.4 right now, as I’m writing this review as the ring is warped…
