These boots are a full 14″ high, so in deep snow they keep it out, and keep your feet extremely warm. Also an easy slip draw string to snug them up around your leg to keep snow out. Liners slip in and out easily. Many days I just slip them on barefoot, and even at – 20 my feet are warm. Great purchase.

They fit great… they’re comfortable… but warning if you’re shorter than 6 feet! They are VERY tall. I’m 5’5 and they basically go up to my knees. If you don’t like super tall boots that cover almost half your legs these aren’t for you!
I’ve always used kamik boots but they’ve definitely altered the height LOL.
Good boots for a reasonable price.

I’ve had Kamik winter boots for a long time. These boots are very comfortable and warm, not to mention surprisingly light. We’ve already had quite a bit of snow and they are broken in now. No complaints, I’m happy. It is SO satisfying to purchase a product in Canada that IS a product of Canada. Bring on more snow, this Canuck is ready for it!😁😁

I order them to replace and old Kamik pair of boot, so the size was not a guess. However, the foot support is very weak and they are not comfortable for a long period of time or to walk a lot. I’m disappointed, because my previous Kamik boot had a very good foot support and were very comfortable. But, they are discontinued so I order this model, which was “price equivalent”. On the other side, they are very warm, and the liner seem better than my previous one. Next time i will go to a shoes shop to try them prior to purchase.

Klasse Produkt👍

excellentes bottes de neige.
rien à redire, c’est du Kamik…
elles semblent indestructibles.
Cependant, elles taillent grand.
prenez donc votre taille habituelle.

This boot is overkill for me. I’m a city dweller, and these boots are to keep me warm when I shovel snow. The boot is too large to fit over pants; I had to tuck my jeans into the boot. The tread seems solid; I had no difficulty slipping when walking over ice or snow. I’ve used this boot a couple of times this winter (-20 C once and about -28 C with wind chill another time). These boots were very warm. I usually wear a size 12, but I ordered one size up because I have wide feet. I was a bit worried because all the sizes are rated as “D,” which is a medium. No problems! I suspect the manufacturer was generous with its “D” rating so it wouldn’t have to make separate size shoes for different foot widths. I usually wear a size 12 3E, but I had no problem fitting into these.
So why 4 stars instead of 5? As others have mentioned, the inside liner is stupidly designed. When I put the boots on, I usually end up stepping on the liner and have to pull it back up manually. It’s not stuck or zipped inside the boot. Also, it’s hard to fit the boot so that it lies flat when walking. When I walk and lift my heel off the ground, the boots tend to fall off my heel and cause a slapping sound despite tightening the cord at the base of the boots. For short distances like shovelling, this isn’t a problem. For long distances, I can see this being very annoying.
Overall, the value is excellent. It’s less than a quarter the cost of other winter boots I was looking at (Baffin Endurance).

My 25-30 year old snow boots had finally had the biscuit. Some of the rubber on the top of the toes had started to crack, and they were no longer waterproof. Warm, but not waterproof. Believe it or not, my old boots were manufactured in Lachine by the same company – Kamik. They have been making quality footwear in Canada for close to 100 years, so that also tells you that they make a super quality long lasting product.
I wear snow boots daily for the snowy trails at our off leash dog park with my Charlie (chocolate lab). Each visit we do a minimum of 1 mile, sometimes 3 miles walking on each visit. Sure glad Kamik is around!

There are better fitting boots, and there are cheaper boots, but these really are excellent value. A nice thick liner, and so far the body of the boot has proven waterproof and warm.
I do a lot of hiking and backpacking in the snow, and the fit is a little loose for those sort of activities. These are excellent for shoveling snow, snowmobiling, walking the dog around the block comfortably even in deep cold. I’m very happy with the purchase, and will save up a little more for some better hiking winter boots.

These boots offer great protection but minimal comfort. They are very long and seem completely waterproof. They are not that hot by themselves but it’s obvious they are meant to leave space for thick socks because the inside is very roomy. Their grip on ice and other slippery surfaces is fine but not great.
My biggest problem, however, is the lack of support for your feet. They are not comfortable to walk with and my knees are telling me they disagree with my choice of boots. I’ve had knee issues for a long time and these are some of the worse footwear I’ve had for my knees. For this reason, I would not buy these boots again.
