Seems to be a very good product. Absorbs well into leather, easy to apply and the cost won’t break the bank.

Not much to say. It’s mink oil and it works. I put my boots in the oven at the lowest setting for about 15 minutes, take them out and oil them up and place back in the oven for another 15 minutes. After that I take them out and put them on. THe leather becomes soft and conforms to my foot really nicely. No complaints.

Used it on my (black) leather car seats. They’re about 13 years old now, and were starting to harden up quite a bit, but hadn’t yet cracked.
Best to do it when it’s warm out. Repeated applications (you can see it soaking in!) are usually required, but after a while you can feel the softness and flexibility coming back. It’s NOT a quickie spray, one shot it’s done operation! I throw on some gloves, pour a bit on, and massage it in. Come back a few hours later and repeat. Then do it all again a few days later.
Follow it up with some 303 on your dash, and you’ll feel like you’ve got an almost new car.

I bought it ONLY for a belt which your ad said its for. the actual label doesn’t say its for belts and I was worried about stains. there were none. I discarded all of your other options for leather treatment because they didn’t say they were for belts. fix that please..now would be nice. ty

Otto prodotto, lo sto usando per ammorbidire delle doc Martens.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

Works great! It’s a little runny, but really seems to work. It does seem to darken them a bit as warned, but that doesn’t bother me any!
In the photo left is before, right is after being treated.

I purchased the Mink Oil as I read online that it makes your leather darker and I was interested in darkening my new western boots that I bought. I absolutely Love my boots just wanted them to be darker and with the Mink Oil you can do that. I first applied the product and instantly my boots went dark. I then put another coat on 2-3hrs later as it says to do and they looked great. I will say that I had to reapply the Mink Oil 2 months later as my boots started to get lighter which I thought they would stay dark. Overall I am very happy with the product and will buy again!!! Cheers.

To open the bottle for the first time, you have to remove the cap and there is a plastic plug that you have to remove. It was a bit of a pain to remove it, but that’s fine as it keeps the oil from leaking during transport.
The consistency of the mink oil is like a thin gel. I used it on some of my Timberland Hiking boots that were brown, and it made them darker but I wanted them darker and had a feeling that would happen since I’m applying oil to them. If you don’t want to darken your shoes or boots, definitely test a bit in a small area first, wait a day and then see the results, otherwise you may have darkened your shoes when you did not want to! Applying it is easy with a paper towel, but probably a sponge would do better.
As for the waterproofing and stain resistance, in Toronto there is always tons of salt everywhere during the winter and a bit of snow. It definitely makes salt easy to clean off and waterproofing seems to work fine. A great product overall as long as you test on your boots first to see if it darkens it, and it definitely resists water and salt!

Nourrit parfaitement le cuir de mes boots avec un effet durable et un aspect satiné que j’apprécie. Le cuir est bien souple, je recommande
