I was hoping that this product would be better than the stainless steel pot but it gets just as dirty and doesn’t wash well. I probably would not buy again…

When I saw that they have a non stick inner liner for the Instant Pot I knew I had to get one, after cleaning up mac and cheese I nearly lost my mind. The coating is Teflon free and also free of other harmful chemicals, it’s a ceramic coating that is really strong but still don’t use metal utensils. Clean up is a breeze now when I’m finished cooking with this baby and ended up getting one for my other smaller Instant Pot

Given that this was $50 I was expected a fairly heavy duty non-stick pot. It was much lighter than the stainless pot included with the Instant pot, which has a nice solid bottom. The non-stick coating is very low quality. I used it once, with the plastic utensils I use in all my non-stick cookware. Found several scratches in coating when I washed it. Was baffled by this until I figured out they were from the cumin seeds in the recipe!! Couldn’t believe it!….very disappointed

I am unable to comment on the durability, I haven’t had it that long. It is sooo much easier to clean and much lighter than the steel one that comes with the instapot. I had to double and triple check the size I ordered. What caught me offguard is that it is not the same size as the steel version. I ordered the correct size, The ceramic pot packaging shows it is made for the size instapot I have. It fits properly in my instapot and I have had no issues making anything with it.

I have two multicookers: T-Fal Cook4me and Instant Pot Ultra.
T-Fal Cook4me has an original ceramic coated non-stick pot and its quality is superb, real-deal non-stick cookware, amazingly easy to clean, durable and proved itself over time.
When I purchased Instant Pot Ultra I wanted to get a similar ceramic-coated pot for IP as well, so I bought the product in the subject and when it was delivered I was all anticipation, but unfortunately, I was disappointed right out of the box for its cheap quality is so evident. What a pity.
On top of it, the pot’s internal surface is somewhat grainy and had couple tiny sharp bumps.
I have returned the product, for it doesn’t meet the standards of ceramic-coated cookware according to my experience.

I think the picture tells you everything you need to know about exactly how ‘non-stick’ this insert is. I don’t have access to a full kitchen range and wanted to be able to use the Instant Pot as a frying pan. Even using the low heat option to fry mushrooms, this thing isn’t non-stick at all. I’ve used T-Fal’s non-stick range, I use the T-Fal actifry original model and I know what non-stick feels like. Unfortunately, this isn’t it. Extremely disappointing. If you were using planning on using this to avoid the BURN message from your Instant Pot from food sticking to the bottom, it might help A BIT. Overall, super disappointed.

Useful but very easy to scratch. Non stick surface isn’t as non stick as I would have expected. Bottom of the pot isn’t as think as the original pot, making it more prone to burning the bottom of the ingredients.

I really like having a ceramic nonstick liner for the Instant pot but the finish on this one is not as good as other ceramic coated pots I have. I have only used it twice and it is stained with turmeric, even after running it through a hot dishwasher cycle. Turmeric is difficult on most surfaces but my white ceramic coated saucepans do not stain like that.

Having looked for a new inner pot for my harvest pressure pro without any success ( not available in the uk ☹️), I looked at the measurements of this pot and it was almost identical, so, I purchased it against the recommendation of the many reviews,
I tried it and hey presto, perfect size, next I added water and sealed the lid ( didn’t want soup or dinner on the ceiling! )
The cooker got up to pressure , sealed and cooked as normal.👍 next I tried pumpkin soup, yet again perfect 🍵, I have now used it a couple of times and am really pleased, not sure about the non stick yet its looking a bit marked on the bottom and I only used wooden or plastic utensils, .. time will tell, but so far 🤞🏻All ok
Have to say Harvest not very responsive to emails asking for help in purchasing there products
This is my second review, I am really pleased with this pot, I have now purchased a second one, this fits my harvest pressure pro perfectly , extremely easy to clean , totally non stick so far, I don’t put it in the dishwasher as I feel it could be too harsh a wash and feel this could cause a promlem with the non stick coating,
Even more pleased that I got this when on offer 👍 life’s good 😀

Firstly, this fits our 8 litre Instantpot just fine, lid seals without extra pressure.
I popped some boiling water in & a squirt of washing up liquid in it to start it cleaning, popped it in the instantpot on high pressure for 15 minutes for the soap to permeate & steam off the walls any residual gubbins (also naturally cleans the lid nicely 😉
Whilst I personally (the husband) have never had a problem with the stainless steel pot ..fact is it is great, the instantpot is great, & if I could find another 8 litre unit I’d buy another for side by side cooking (also use it for sous vide) ..my wife complained that the rice she cooked was claggy & burnt on the bottom a bit (I put it down to her “fast cook” technique with zero rinsing (I.E. pre-wet rice).
The finish on this pot is smooth, the pot is light (when empty) lighter than the s/steel version
Apparantly it is dishwasher safe, however those who already own an instantpot likely clean it frugally with a little bit of hot water & washing up liquid rather than taking all that bottom rack dishwasher space …because they clean easily, ..this in theory cleans even easier, ..just don’t use anything that may score or flake the layer!
I look forward to cooking more egg recipes with added confidence.
NB when washing it din’t confuse a scratchy”green” scrubbing plastic side of a kitchen sponge with a white sided one, ..the WHITE tends to mean it is ok for this type of enamel surface.
However, as mentioned before, a good soak & steam / pressire cook with hot water, washing up liquid & being left overnight will make light work of built on food residue to the interior of the pan, thereafter, a hot wash in a dishwasher should take care of remainders without having to lift a finger, (ie not wanting to scrub the surface hard) ..I just used saute mode for some noodles with chicken & teriyaki sauc, (a quick kid fix to teach our kiddo to make a basic hot snack meal) ..the residue from the noodles burnt on the inner base came off a treat when the above cleaning method is observed, ..only serves to make this my lazy teen / student digs device recommendation!

This pot is NOT made to be used with a Sauté function!! I was making rice with some onions and spices. I chose Saute’ function first and after a few mins when it heated up, the whole cooker went blank – electricity completely out .. like a blown fuse – complete shutdown and it doesn’t start back up again. It ruins the pot!!
This has happened to me a few days after I bought my instant pot. At that time, I wasn’t sure what’s wrong and thought it might just be a faulty machine. So I returned the Instant Pot to Amazon (it cost a fortune) and got a replacement pot. I cooked with the stainless steel inner pot with no problems and then tried to cook in this ceramic one with Sauté function and again the whole pot went dead. Clearly the ceramic insert was not made to conduct and distribute heat properly when on Suate (perhaps it just works with pressure mode). But this is an original Instant Pot accessory and there is no warning whatsoever on what not to do .. no warning that this will ruin the pot, killing all electricity. I live in Denmark so we don’t have a repair center or anything. I wrote to Instant Pot customer service and got no reply. Very very disappointed because I now have a Machine that is useless without electricity. So pls beware if you are buying this – do not Sauté. It will ruin your machine.

Not perfect. Not sure if it should be, slightly discoloured or worn/scratched at a spot on the top rim after inspection right out of the box. (See pic). Made a pancake in my ultra and worked out well! I question the quality of the bowl itself but it’ll do the job.

Used this for the first time yesterday to cook a stew. I find the stainless steel one overheats easily and meat can stick to the bottom. Although this ceramic pot handled the browning much better than the stainless steel one after cooking the meat was still a little tough.
I used exactly the same timings I would have used on the stainless steel pot so I can only conclude that this one does not conduct heat as well as the other. Therefore an increase of time is needed I would say by 5 or 10 minutes.
I still like the pot though as it definitely sticks less than the stainless steel version and it was incredibly easy to clean. I forgot to clean after use and just soaked the pot in hot soapy water the next day and it all cleaned up with no problem.
