I bought this DVD player as I wanted something portable and so I could watch different types of DVDs and ones from different regions.
I have some “region 2”
DVDs from UK that I wanted to play.
I demonstrate in a video how it plays perfectly fine.
The player is the right size for me. I can carry it from room to room if I want to. I can use it with or without headphones.
Buttons function well. The one thing that is a slight negative is the volume is the volume could go a little higher. It depends upon the DVD. Some seem to be louder than others. The volume goes up to 20 that’s the Max. Some DVDs you need it on Max and others maybe half that volume. But it isn’t enough to deter me from using. I can also use headphones.

It is a basic player and it works well and it is exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with the item and I hope it lasts me for a while. Perhaps I will return in a few months to update my review to See if there has been any changes.

Bought this DVD player because I’m going on a trip and I wanted a region free player to watch a show I had recently purchased. Overall, they player was very well built and came with quite a wide variety of features (Region Free, Zoom Functions, etc.). Received player and tried to play a disc. Granted, most DVD players are going to make noise while they read the discs, but this player made a really high pitched noise while it tried to read all of the discs. It was loud enough that I couldn’t try to play this player with other people in the immediate vicinity. Of the three discs I tried on this player, only one of them actually made it to the selection menu and allowed me to play the content I was trying to watch. The one positive I will say is that the picture quality was not half bad and the sound actually was pretty nice for a tiny DVD player. However, the other two discs froze either once it got to the piracy warnings or when I tried to skip the ads on the disc. I tried to stop the discs and nothing responded, so I just shut the player off and removed the discs. Not sure if I just got a bad player or not but now in need of new player for my trip. Hopefully, I can find a good one.

I got a faulty player it was a fluke that was not ieGeek’s fault. They promptly refunded my money. What I can say about the player is it has a nice large screen, the color is super cute, the remote has so many options that you can control it like a normal t.v. and they are the best company I’ve ever dealt with through Amazon.

No confidence in this seller: I do not believe this company is being forthright. I am not going to guess why fingerprints were already on the underside of this unit. The rest of the unit had the requisite stickers and shiny removable plastic covering. I also do not believe i was sold a “New” product.
Display quality: This is a definitely landfill product. The picture quality is not even remotely acceptable when viewed straight on. The quality becomes even worse if the screen is shifted right or left.
Headphone jack: Has a disturbingly loud hissing sound that ruins viewer experience. I contacted the company and was told they had never heard this concern prior to my contact and suggested I turn the headphone jack around. I tested 3 different headphones a mix of noise cancelling and not noise cancelling. Each headphone created the same loud hissing sound.
Return: This is the 2nd iGeek DVD player I am returning purchased from the same company. It appears that there are many different variations of iGeek DVD players and different production types. It also seems as though iGeek players have different build standards depending upon what manufacturer it’s using. Consistency of a quality product will not be produced.
The instruction manual itself states that the actual unit you receive may/or may not be correctly depicted in their diagrams. Differences in build standards, types of units, and different manufacturers creates a Hit and Miss product. This may explain why there are such varied Amazon reviews.
The product is cheaply made, poor quality, and will end up becoming landfill junk.
You’d be better off purchasing a quality used tablet and downloading a few apps and watching movies than spending a dime on an iGeek DVD player.

I purchased this dvd player to take on a long car trip with my family. It arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. I plugged it in to charge the battery up as the instructions said. I found that the player would not work on the battery function but did work if plugged into the wall or in my car. I contacted iegeek and they promptly responded and shipped me out a new one! I was absolutely happy with the customer service and fast shipping. The dvd player itself has great picture quality and having a remote will come in handy on the road. We look forward to seeing how it works for our trip.
