The details said no DVD drive but mine came with one. However the disk drive was physically busted, so maybe that’s why they didn’t include that on the listing? Also has a couple long, very visible scratches on the front, despite being supposedly “no visible wear”. I’m not concerned about the looks, i’m more concerned it looks like it had been dropped. Was also getting some occasional loud vibration from the back of the case, until i tightened some screws.
Those things aside, it’s worked reliably (so far, after 3 months). Happy to see it actually came with an SSD as listed. No problems activating Windows. The included keyboard + mouse were crappy, but i didn’t need those anyway.
It’s always a risk to buy electronics used/refurb, but if you’re lucky to not get a lemon, you could get a nice system for a really good price.

This particular refurbished machine is disappointing to say the least when opening the box and having a good look at it. Bent brackets where the pcie slots are, the ports on the back are misaligned to the case for some reason….and the 512gb SSD…it’s a 480gb (Size not that big a deal, but it is listed 512gb) budget adata brand drive. The ram looks to be some cheap off brand junk that’s not HP branded at all.
All signs point to stay away.
This machine is not what I’d expected. I’ve purchased lots of refurbished items before, but this one is the first that’s obviously just a thrown together very used machine with a wipe down and random budget parts being used to sell it.

Doesn’t have wifi or bluetooth, but a relatively inexpensive wifi USB can also get you a free blue tooth dongle. Main thing to note is great initial speed. Much faster than my HP600 SMFF. Setup a breeze, too. USB 3’s and a bunch of USB 2’s so no problem with peripherals there. Mouse and keyboard are fine but you’ll probably want to get a wireless set.

There are many “refurbished” choices and I spent considerable time looking for one that would best suit my mother. Her needs are pretty basic. A computer with a DVD reader. She doesn’t really need a writer, but does need a reader. The picture shows the DVD drive built in… LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPUTER I HAVE EVER SEEN… but the one I received did NOT come with a built in DVD as ILLUSTRATED on the picture. No where did I see or read that it would come with an EXTERNAL DVD drive that you will have to plug into the back or front of the computer. WTF? I would NEVER have purchased this computer had I known that. I am disappointed that Amazon would allow this sort of poor representation of a product on their site. To balance out my rant, the computer works fine on day 1. I cannot recommend this product based on how it was represented.

Product works OK except that the “Space Bar” of the keyboard doesn’t work. Sent email to the seller and got no response. Contacted Amazon customer service instead and got compensated. Stay away from this seller and get something equivalent from someone else. Trust Amazon customer service when it comes to problem escalations.

Good Small PC for general use like word processing, watching videos, research, playing PS1/PS2 games through emulation, and enjoying a movie with the family. All the ports work well.
To increase the speed of PC, an SSD was installed with Linux Mint 19.2. Win 10 1903 is terrible and buggy besides collecting all your personal information therefore was taken off. Overall a good used PC that should last for years with proper care.
The seller is well. The packaging kept the tower safe and secure. The seller provides clear instructions to activate Win 10.

With all the specific good parts inside this particular model, it is quiet and fast .

I have been in the computer industry for over 20 years. During that time I have built, serviced, and repaired computers, for individuals and businesses. I have designed, installed, and serviced Networks for individuals and companies. There is no way I could build a computer for $188.00.
I sent emails to four different computer companies regarding this particular computer. “StallionTek Certified” responded within two days. The others took four days or not at all.
I expected a computer with some dings and scratches, and a keyboard and mouse that were used and cleaned up.
Upon opening the box I noticed the packing material was quite extensive, providing extra protection for the computer. The computer looked like it was brand new. I opened up the case and the inside was in pristine condition. The mouse and keyboard were in there own boxes and they looked brand new. There wasn’t a mark on either one.
I ran the computer and it ran cool, and was so quiet you couldn’t tell it was running. The computer was loaded with Windows 10/64 Bit. The motherboard has built in network capabilities. I didn’t have a chance to check out the network portion yet, but I’m sure it will be OK. I purchased this computer for my wife so she could have her own computer.
I went to HP”s website and downloaded the operating and service manuals, as well as diagnostic software.
“StallionTek Certified” communication was excellent. Purchasing a computer, with mouse and keyboard at a price of $188.00 is remarkable. Even if the computer cost twice that, it would still be a bargain. You can’t go wrong and you won’t be disappointed if you purchase a computer system from “StallionTek Certified”. Also, the computer hardware is warrantied for one year.

This is an excellent computer in regards to performance, especially if you replace the hdd by a ssd and you add a video card. I have to lower the rating to 3 stars though because of quality control. 1 less star because my first one arrived with display and network impossible to use because the motherboard was not installed properly and was bended making the connectors unaligned with the case holes. I had to open it up, unscrew the motherboard and reinstall it to fix this. This is definitely not something everybody could’ve troubleshooted themselves. Another lost star because the second one of the two I ordered arrived without a Windows license label (unlike the first one) making it non legit and it was also missing the rubber pads under it and i ended up scratching my desk before I found out they had been removed (I added pads myself that I bought from the hardware store to fix this). I very much like those computers but make sure to inspect them properly on arrival for anything missing or bended since they seem to lack proper quality control to fix those issues before shipping them. I would still buy again this system because both computers do work very well after fixing those issues myself.

Obedeció a las características indicadas, funciona bastante bien, memoria interna, memoria ram, sistema operativo actualizado, velocidad de operación y condiciones físicas de equipo muy aceptables, como nuevas. Mucha oportunidad en la entrega y fácil de instalación. [único problema sistema operativo en inglés, pero no fue para mi problema grave, solo por ajuste con el teclado]
