Hello,
I was led to believe it was a touch screen, yet it is not. It is taking some time to get used to the controls. ONCE so far the touch pad crashed and I had to restart the computer via a system restore.
So it is not as flash as a tablet, yet it is upgradeable and should last more the three or 4 years. It has more
gb than the cheaper Office Works and Harvey Norman offerings. It would be great if the keys lite up as I use it in low light situations to get the longestlife from the battery. Thx again.

Being an Aged person and not very computer skilled, I envisage entering an Aged person Computer Course and it
is ideal for that purpose.

This won’t be an extensive review, however I wanted to point out a couple things that may help others that purchase this laptop.
The laptop came well equipped with an Intel i5 CPU (did not check model or generation), 8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for internet browsing/gaming and school work so it will be more than enough for what she needs.
When a laptop is sold as “Certified Refurbished” I expect to receive it in like-new condition. I don’t mind a ding here or scratch there as that should be expected on a 5+ year old laptop, but it should also be clean and all consumables should be replaced with new parts.
I gave this laptop a 3-star rating for the following reasons:
– When I removed the bottom cover the fan was caked with dust and I had to clean it.
– My daughter complained the laptop battery dies within 10 minutes after she unplugs the power cable. I inspected the battery and it is original with a manufactured date of 2012. The battery should have been replaced with a new one before it was sold.
– Windows reported it was not genuine and could not be activated. No instructions came with the laptop and it was only when I inspected the battery that I found the refurb sticker on the bottom that contained the new Windows key. I changed the Windows key to what was printed on the label and activation succeeded. I am familiar with the process but others may not be and have a difficult time trying to activate windows. A simple instruction sheet will help in those situations.
I would also like to add that Amazon support was very helpful. Amazon could not replace the battery since only aftermarket options are available and sold only by third party re-sellers, however they issued me a promotional certificate in the amount of what it will take to buy a replacement battery to use against my next Amazon purchase.

The packaging was impressive, in a total balloon container. No scratches, but the SD slot metal part was bent. I straightened it out with a driver and cards work now (before they would not go in). A pad, 1 of 4 on the bottom is missing. Battery life is not much. The computer is better than any laptop I’ve had, so good enough for me.

Excellent system up and running in less than 1 hour with updates – Windows 10 loaded with certification and everything to go – very happy so far so good no issues as of yet

At first the computer would not charge. Company sent me new battery and a new universal charge cord. Then the sound is so low it cannot be heard the volume is turned to 100 per cent. I would not recommend this company ever

Works like a charm. I would recommend getting a docking station for the laptop if you can find one. Then you can use a normal keyboard and any monitor or 99% of the TVs on the market as a monitor. It is a very well built commercial laptop. If you want to speed up the computer, put in a solid-state Samsung EVO 512 Gb or bigger. You will be quite happy how fast the computer boots up. Eight gigs of RAM is suffice but you can put up to 16 gigs of RAM.

Computer was delivered well before estimated delivery date and arrived undamaged in good packaging.
After a 10-hr “burn in” and app installation, the machine still works fine. Battery holds a complete charge.

Received the laptop today. So far, so good. Packaging was great so that the machine was well protected. The laptop came in good condition with the charger. I’m impressed with everything so far. Another thing I like is the 90 day warrantee. Thx for great customer service. Fast and easy.

Today is January 3 2021 and the screen went all black but power still on , if I dont get reimbursed for the fix I’m sending it back. I received this product on Dec.03,2021 exactly 1 month from receiving it , it was a Christmas gift to my son.
