The combo pack is the least expensive way to purchase a year’s supply of true, certified OEM filters for a HPA 200 series Honeywell Air Purifier. These fit perfectly, are certified HEPA filters and don’t have and objectionable smell.

This comes with carbon filters designed for the HPA200 series.
They work with the HPA100 series except you need to cut it.
Unfortunately the size of HPA200 is not exactly 2:1, so once you cut it to size, it cannot be used again.
That means you only get 4 usable carbon filters (and 2 HEPA filters) if you are buying it for the HPA100 series

After a LOT of (frustrating and contradicting) research we decided to take a chance and purchase this for our HPA5250 and are relieved that it ended up being a perfect fit! For the record, it came with two of the white filters and four of the black filters.

The prefilter (HRF-AP1) was suggested by Amazon when I purchased the Airpurifier because it is not like the one that comes with the Honeywell Air Purifier HPA300. It is a very thin product and doesn’t have the structural integrity to stand upright and alone the way it is supposed to. It is made to be attached to itself wound around a cylinder.
I also bought a 2-pack Hepafilter which was also suggested by Amazon which turned out to not be correct since this Airpurifier requires 3 Hepafilters at one time.
I searched further and found the Honeywell HEF-ARVP300 product which is a 1-year filter kit consisting of 3 HEPA filters and 4 Pre-Filters. These Pre-Filters are the same as that in my purifier and are already cut and of sufficient thickness and integrity to standalone as is necessary in my Honeywell HPA300 model.

Our Honeywell purifier states that its uses type R and type A replacement filters, but apparently those are not standard sized filters. In other words, different sizes of type A and type R filters exist, and these filters, while listed as being type R and type A, did not fit our air purifier, and there was no way to tell that they did not fit until the items arrived and turned out to be too big for our machine. I would suggest trying to verify in advance , and yes, we entered the serial numbers into the website to check, but that result obviously came back erroneous. So, while I’m sure that these are great filters, this purchase was not. The filters did not fit and had to be returned.

Page says “Includes 3 HEPA “R” Replacement Filters and 4 “A” Carbon Pre-Filters (pre-cut)”. However the filters are not precut! They are too large and even arrive bent in the box because they are too big. I bought this specifically because it said pre cut but the filter was much too large and I had to cut it anyways.

People that buys air filter are either wanting to live healthier or have respiratory issues. So when the air filter smells like gasoline … it defeats the purpose of improving air quality. Some other review seems to be running into the same issue. I was hoping I would get a different batch… but nope, same batch. I aired it out by putting in front of a fan x 48hr and under the sun for a few hours. The smell becomes undetectable after that, but do not know if it is still off gassing. It does not put the mind at ease when using it.

I have COPD and it is important for me to have clean air in my home. These new filters are perfect. I hadn’t changed them in a long time. Did not realize the old ones actually had an oder from being used for so long. As soon as I changed them I could tell the difference,. And very easy to change them I am a 78 yr old great gramma .So if I can do it. So can you. Thank you Honeywell. I can breathe comfortably again.

Item came in Honeywell box b it the black Pre Filter isn’t even the correct size as the original i got worse The the purifier Also has a horrible smell to it not very happy about spending $70 and not getting the correct item

For the Honeywell HPA300 Series Air Purifier. I took a long time to decide on the Honeywell HPA300, carefully evaluating the various air purifiers. The HPA 300 had great reviews, was priced well on amazon.ca, and the replacement filters were reasonably priced. The problem with higher end machines was that filter replacement was terribly, restrictively expensive, and the machines were too expensive. Well done Honeywell. 5 Stars. Highly recommended.

This package contains all the filters we will need for the full year maintaining our new Honeywell air purifier. Others are selling the 4 Hepa filters for more than this package costs that includes the charcoal filters! Good price and they are the real filters, not fake ones like some other sellers are giving you. Definitely recommend this kit!
