Not impressed that on the exact day the return window closed, the fan stopped working. Amazing timing right? Thankfully Amazon Customer Service agreed to let me return it as I’d just missed the return date by a few hours.
When it works, it’s a good little fan. But surely one should expect it not to be disposable as in work for a month or less then be nothing but a useless plastic paperweight? I expect more from a brand like Honeywell.
I’m replacing it – because I do believe in the brand but if this one fails too, that’s it – no more Honeywell for me.
Update Dec 2018, well the replacement fan died as well. So off to find a better brand!

On the Low and Medium setting you can barely feel any air movement , on High it moves some air but no where what you would expect and certainly not the 25feet they say on the box anything past 5 feet and you barely feel it . Save your money , not worth the price .

I Replaced a fan that is on its last breath ,
and this one is a bit smaller than the other on so it fits on the
shelf better.

Powerful and quiet, I highly recommend this. However, I think I got a returned product, which is pretty dusty out of the box, and there are 2 rubber feet missing from the bottom. It’s not a huge issue, but I think this kind of things should go to warehouse deals instead of being blended in the new ones without any inspection.

I’ve had the HT-900 fans for years. I use them when I sleep, so they need to be whisper quiet and these always did the trick. When my 3 yr old HT-900 started making noise, I figured I’d just easily replace it. What I got was a new fan that’s louder than my old one. I used it 1 night and then put it back in the box and got my old one back out. I am so disappointed! If you just need a fan during the day for air circulation or you don’t care about the noise level, this is still a good fan to get — but if you need a quiet fan for sleeping, this is no longer it.

Honeywell HT900C TurboForce®
– “#1 best selling honeywell fan in Canada!” Probably because it’s one of the cheaper options, and it shows. It’s great for year-round use of breathing air on you from 3 feet away. Yup.
– “3 speed motor with high” About as much force of a gentle cough, “medium and low” As much force as someone snoring gently in their sleep.
It does save on your energy bill because of how much air it doesn’t move around.
– “Includes easy carrying handle” It’s bulky but very lightweight due to the terribly small and cheap blades. Didn’t mount it, didn’t try, was that disappointed in it.
– “No tools assembly” Truth. Was just plug and go, the nobs were a bit stiff to turn though.
– “Eco-friendly box” It’s cardboard I’d hope so.
– “Honewell was voted No. 1 most trusted” I trust it not to catch on fire because of how much air it doesn’t ciruclate.
I used to be a Honeywell household and had a previous model of this fan that lasted easily over ten years. I was excited to purchase this thinking the cheap price was because it was in country shipping but no.
This fan has been nothing but a disappointment and I would be ashamed to put my brand name on this. Amazon wants me to pay half the price of this to return as well, otherwise I’d return it. Giant 90 degree head pivot of disappointment from me. Do not recommend.
Tl;dr: If you enjoy being breathed on for some reason, you’ll like this bulky POS.

It has now been over 2 years I have had this fan. The motor is starting to fail, however I have ran it constantly for the entire 2 years, use it to prop open a heavy window, and have dropped it countless times. I am absolutely blown away with the quality!

This is really a great fan. Very quiet for how powerful it is. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is that the power/level switch is in an awkward place on the back because of the carrying handle, and relatively small. This would be a 5 star review if the control was a knob on the front instead

My brother had one and it worked well…so I wanted one! Excellent product and timely shipping – this remains the best fan ever. Nice and quiet and circulates air in my master bedroom (13×18) nicely. I bought two and I have one on my desk at work too. The swivel wasn’t quite enough for me to mount on the wall where I wanted to…but they work great from the corner on the floor and I can feel the breeze while laying in bed.

I gave 3 star for durability and easy to clean because I do not believe it is possible to answer those questions after owning it only for a short time. As well, I do not anticipate being one to open it for cleaning. 3 = neutral.
That said, I found the price reasonable and as I intend it to be used to cool only small areas, this is fine for me. Don’t expect big gusts if wind at a high setting though. Think of it as a desktop fan at your desk in the office and you will get the most reasonable impression on the range and coverage this fan can do.
If you were looking for a show piece, there are others out there. I just wanted functional and this does the job.

This is a very small fan and arrived from Walmart two days after I placed my order. Can’t complain, I wish I had looked closer at the dimensions cause I ordered a fan identical by Honeywell thru Amazon too but larger and it was much cheaper! Would have saved about $10.00 if I had bought it from Walmart directly! Lesson learned!!

I absolutely love this little guy. Gives off a powerful amount of air. Not exactly silent but not overpowering. I run it all night.
