Awesome, sturdy, beautiful kitchen cart. Easy to put together, clear instructions. It arrived way sooner than I expected as well and I am in northern Canada so that was a surprise.

Even though it was smaller than I expected (the drawer space too), it fits our tiny kitchen perfectly well so its not too cramped. We have yet to install the towel and spice rack, reason being so that it takes up less space. The wheels obviously make it really easy to move and they lock good too. Highly recommend this product.

Wheels don’t lock sturdy but I am going to replace with legs/kick plate. Minor adjustment. Top drawers on unit stick when pushing the drawers in. I priced a custom cabinet at just under $5000.00 but decided to buy several of these and combine them to create one unit. And place granite on the top, with bar stools/overhang. A nice island which will give me loads of extra storage/kitchen space and saved me $2000.00 🙂 all wood except for the inner shelves which are also finished nicely

Turned out great. Yes, it took a bit longer to get delivered by purolator because of the weight, but it was only a couple days off. Not a big deal, as they worked with us to make arrangements.

Well packaged, well labelled, fairly easy instructions with this. We had it put together in a couple of hours with many breaks in between.

Drawers are easy to slide, but they don’t hold much. I use them to hold a few utensils and smaller parts from my blender.

The cabinets are fairly good sized. One holds our knock off instapot, the other side our 4in1 ninja blender system. It will not hold the Ninja Foodi, however. I think it’s just a bit too wide.

We use this to prep our meals and it’s just perfect. The leaf adds the extra room for us. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Just perfect, this island went together easily and is very, very sturdy.
Looks great in the kitchen and my wife and I could not be happier.
You do need 2 people to install.

This is a very nice kitchen cart, pretty much exactly as described (though it is not totally solid wood; the important parts are though). The instructions were pretty clear to put it together and all the bits were well-machined to fit properly. One thing to note – it comes in one very big box that is very heavy, and UPS is not thrilled about delivering it, especially if you have stairs. They left it on my front path and I had to open the box and bring all the parts up the stairs, one at a time! That said, it was extremely well-packed so all the parts were protected. Overall we’re very pleased with the end product.

Update: After 1 year I am very dissatisfied. I was rolling the cart when one of the wheels must have hit a small obstacle. Suddenly the entire cart fell to the side with all my things sitting on it breaking onto the floor. I examined what happened and the 2 right wheels had been torn off the bottom. The reason? The manufacturer used low quality fibre board to attach the wheels to. Why they would use such nice solid wood throughout most of the unit but use fibre board on a critical infrastructure frame is just cheap.

    *****

Looks great. All parts are very high quality with one exception that I don’t quite understand. While nice wood is used throughout, the bottom of the drawers consist of what looks like thin high density fiberboard. Maybe this will hold up over time against possible spills in the drawers or accidental overload of weight … time will tell. But I don’t plan on putting much in the drawers anyway – it just seems that the use of this material is inconsistent with everything else about the product. It took at 4.5 hours for me to put together. I think I could have done it in 4 with an electric screwdriver. When you get to the drawers part of the assembly, there are a lot of screws! Please let me know if you found this review helpful.

I actually painted over the existing finish to match the tile in my kitchen and sanded stained the butcher block top. It’s really well made, easy to put together and I’m thrilled with the end-product.

I received this quite fast but the box had damage on one edge. I’m not sure if it truly damaged anything inside though. It was quite easy to assemble and the instructions are very easy to follow. Once finished, I filled it up with a lot of weight and it does exactly as I planned. Bad points are the soft rubber on the casters may be an issue if they get flat spotted. Worst case is having to upgrade them though. The roller for the paper towels was chipped and Amazon.ca provided no assistance whatsoever. Neither the manufacturer nor the distributer provide contact information. The product is made in Thailand so I am doubtful there is any QC/QA involvement by the distributer. Finally, and it was very easy to resolve, when they pre-assembled the drawer fronts, they assembled them upside down so the drawers wouldn’t actually close. Three screws and about a minute of time and this was fixed. I should also mention that between the time I ordered and received it, the price dropped over $100 and there’s no way to get price matching.

Wow, got this island on discount, and for what I paid, I am absolutely delighted. It’s real wood, all the way through. We sanded most of the bottom outward facing pieces and painted them sea foam green to add some color to the kitchen (I got the natural wood with all wood top). Didn’t end up using the towel rod just because of my layout and redundancy. Extremely pleased.

I am so so so happy with this purchase. I’ve wanted to do an island in my kitchen for a few YEARS now, and have just now bit the bullet and bought one. Wow. Why did I not do this 3 years ago!? This thing is amazing! It was slow to assemble, but that’s because I always take my time and do it right the first time. I also used wood glue on all the joints to strengthen the structure and lengthen the life of the unit…I recommend anyone do that with any assembled furniture, it takes a little extra time but the payoff is worth it. The only issue I had, which multiple people have stated in reviews already, was the pilot holes drilled for the drawers were too small. So just make sure you have a drill and an appropriate sized bit and save yourself the headache. Other than that, I assembled this all by myself with no issue. (Female, 29, out-of-shape). I opted not to install the side racks, and instead purchased extra wood plugs to finish the look. If you plan on doing that as well, you’ll need both 3/8″ and 5/16″ plugs. I’m mainly posting this review so that people can see more photos of this thing. I’m big on photos, especially for purchases such as these, so I want to contribute mine as well. Cheers!

    Edit:
The stools I bought for this were

Winsome Wood 24″ Saddle Seat Stool, Nat.

which were a great deal. The natural wood color of the stools matched close enough to the island’s wood. I have various tones of light wood in my kitchen anyway, so it doesn’t really bother me. If I find myself sitting more in the kitchen, I may upgrade the seating and retire these. But for under $400 total, the entire ensemble was perfect!

Looks like it was dropped off the back of a truck, its was to be all natural color wood,, there was brown pieces, black pieces, and right the odd natural pieces…… must be blind when packaged

This was a sheer joy to put together. Everything about it was well organized.

The instructions were highly articulate and diagrams were precise – best I’ve ever seen. There was a faint check mark next to each piece of wood and hardware, so you knew someone had taken the time to ensure it was there.

Each piece was labeled with a sticker that wasn’t terrible to remove. Each hardware packet was individually wrapped, labeled, well-sealed, and in one case contained the tool needed to use the hardware.

The shipping box itself was packed like a puzzle box. The box did arrive damaged, but the pieces were so well-protected and compactly placed inside, there was no damage to the cart. The wood is solid. The only issue was there are a lot of pieces.

The drawers are the hardest part to put together because the angles are a little weird (this is normal) due to the way they fit together. I do recommend a drill to screw in the hardware, especially for that step but really for all of them.

Two people were ideal to put this together, as you have to flip it over to get the wheels on. The first two pieces are hard to get together without two people as well. I wouldn’t say it’s impossible to do alone, just a lot easier with two.

I hadn’t realized the knife box came already put together and hadn’t planned to put the top on it. It’s very well put together and looks quite nice; I just don’t like using knife boxes in general. That top is not coming off without some serious work, so it now holds kitchen tongs in the larger box and the handles of my different sizes of sifters. These aren’t the usual very narrow knife slits. This is good, as those are often unsanitary, but if you do choose to use for knives, they will definitely flop around.

The only thing that held me back from purchasing this item sooner was a lack of review photos showing what the cabinets can hold. The side cabinets are a little narrow but deep. The shelves are adjustable but the width is the limiting factor. I’ve included some photos, but it’s hard to see the full view, so here is a description also:

    – Top left cabinet: Bundt pan (vertical, in back, barely visible) and Kitchenaid 5 qt mixing bowl with multiple attachments inside, making it about four inches taller than the bowl.

    – Bottom left cabinet: Blender base in the back with two plastic Kitchenaid pouring shields. Front holds blender top, 3×5 mini bread pans, and mini pie pans.

    – Center top: Instant Pot *MINI*, 3 quart version, plus base and top of food processor (at least 10 cup size and possibly bigger).

    – Center bottom: 6 quart locking lid crockpot, mini crock pot, mini cast iron skillets.

    – Note: If the crockpot lid didn’t lock, the lid could be flipped over for storage. I believe that would mean I could lower the shelf and possibly fit the larger (6 quart) Instant Pot on top. I may try some alternatives. However, the crockpot and mini instant pot definitely do not fit on the same shelf. The mini instant pot does *not* fit in the sides.

    – Right top: Another 5 qt (empty, normal height) Kitchenaid 5 qt mixing bowl. Stick blender, detached into two pieces and each in a container.

    – Right bottom cabinet: In back, two 8×4 vertical bread pans. Front right, 9×5 bread pan holds two cake doughnut pans, a six muffin tin, and three round cake pans (6, 9, & 11 inches). Front left, battered, cheap, old 9×13 pan holds two 8×8 square pans. Newer 9×13 pans tend to be larger and have handles. I do not believe a 9×13 pan made of thicker material or with handles will fit.

We bought two kitchen islands and made one long one for my kitchen. It gives me so much storage space. There’s only three of us in the house and it’s perfect. Very well built. We took the casters off and my husband made a frame and secured them to the floor so they are very stable. Just love it.
