Took long time to hook to internet and then Alexa would not recognize it and no notification on phone program even with all notifications allowed so returned , reason for 3 rating is lack of communication to alexa or phone

One star goes for quick dispatch and receipt of product. As for the product itself, it is cheap for a reason. Unless you use the camera on constant record , which of course takes up a lot of memory, the camera is useless. I had motion detection activated on high sensitivity and walked close to the camera and it didn’t pick me up at all. The only time motion sensor kicks in is if you physically pick up the camera. If you are counting on this device for home security, don’t bother and pay more !

Grabbed this camera for for $35 and its excellent for the price. Quality is not blow you out of the water but it does a great job in day light and a decent job in night vision. The motion detection works very well once I discovered you can change the sensitivity. It was strong enough to pick up our cat taking a late night stroll. The cloud service I could not get to work so I grabbed a 128gb microSD. And every event is caught on camera, after it was formatted in the unit! Very important for future buyers. In all honesty you could get a better camera but it will cost you triple the price at least. If I ever feel the need for a second unit I would pull the trigger again in a heart beat at the same price I paid. I have had this for about a month now and its worked out great once the sd card was installed.

I upgraded my internet which meant I had to get a new modem. When starting the process of changing this camera over it stopped working (Feb 11th 2021) this camera was purchased in September. When contacting Arenti through email, fb messenger. Email I received was automated and that was it. I had more luck with messenger. They asked me to troubleshoot and screen record it, I did and sent it. I have tried to reset and reconnect this thing easily 100 times. After this I asked for my warranty to be used for a replacement, they asked me to contact their Amazon store. So I contact Amazon and they informed me that my 30 day return window has expired. So I go back to Arenti and they now want to troubleshoot some more this is going on three weeks now with a product that is useless and cant even be used as a paper weight. I have told them I was changing my review on here, as I am feed up with this now. Its funny that they will use my footage as a advertisement on their website and still not stand behind their products. BUYERS BEWARE if you have problems with connecting to wifi and have to contact them get ready for a run around and a 3 week conversation that was totally useless. I will be taking my business to Blink or some other brand that will actually stand behind the products they manufacture. I have changed my rating from 5 to 1 star but I would rather give this guys a negative rating as CS was the worst I have ever dealt with in my life absolutely ridiculous!

Th picture is great BUT… I have 1.5 terabyte data a month with Comcast. This thing sucked up all my data in 3 weeks! It also messed up one of my tv’s picture. It did both for 2 months. I originally had to return because one camera didn’t work. Then I got these. I discovered the issue when I got a notice from Comcast that I had exceeded my allowed data. We only use one tv, watch maybe 2 movies on Netflix a month, 2 cell phones, one tablet. No gaming. Not gonna send back again. Just returning. So disappointed
THE VENDOR HAS NOW CONTACTED ME SEVERAL TIMES OFFERING ME MONEY TO CHANGE MY REVIEW. IM NOT GOING TO DO THAT AND IM REPORTING HIS HARRASSMENT TO AMAZON. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I’ve only had this security camera in my business for about a week, but so far it’s working great. It’s constantly recording to the SD card, even when not connected to Wi-Fi. As soon as I connect it to Wi-Fi, it shows me all the video it’s been accumulating for the time it wasn’t connected. Set up was a breeze and the accompanying app works well. I set the motion and sound detectors to medium setting, but it’s so sensitive it sometimes picks up cars driving by in the middle of the night. I may have to set the sensitivity lower, but it’s definitely recording all the activities it needs to be recording. Also, excellent price!

I was hoping this was going to be a better product than the overwhelming number of typical cheap fly-by-night Chinese cameras and Arenti says they are HQ in Netherlands, but … no. They are a Chinese company, the Netherlands HQ is a fake out, and while the cameras work (I have 6 deployed and 1 spare) with their app, they are only average. It does support ONVIF, which is somewhat unique at this price point, but there are critical bugs on the ONVIF implementation (video stream regularly/daily become colour-blocky and unusable, still fine in the app). Their customer support was responsive to my first question, but since then have never responded further to multiple attempts (like I said, typical Chinese camera and company). When it works, video quality is ok at this price point, but you do get motion streaking pretty regularly (both ONVIF/RTSP and in-app). Night vision is probably on the better-side of average for this price point.
TL;DR: Fine/average indoor camera when on sale for $25-$30 CAD and if you don’t plan to use ONVIF, but skip it if you want to integrate to an NVR like Blue Iris.

Best buy for the money! It’s perfect for the inside of your home or apartment! My daughter and I bought this for when we go away on vacation or quick getaways to make sure our “not so nice landlord” goes into our apartment without our permission while we’re away. We don’t trust him! Perhaps for you might not be the same circumstances to why you might want to use this fine security cameras! All I know it works perfectly! It makes a perfect nanny cam or for when you give/make big parties and you can’t keep track of those who are snooping around and stealing things under your eye! They’re small and come in handy for any circumstance you might encounter for the right reason! Be safe and use this in the right way within the law! Do not use any security cameras whatsoever for the wrong reason ex: to spy on people, or record weird stuff without consent! You might get arrested! LOL Thank you!

My knowledge of these things was zero on purchase. What I’ve got is a solid camera, with a good app. But if you’re like me, and needed a CCTV solution without really knowing what you’re doing, know this. Night vision doesn’t work through double glazing. That’s my fault, I should have done more research (I didn’t want an external camera because I didn’t want the faff of drilling holes through external walls for cables).
The apps that come with these budget products are budget themselves (I’ve found this with other inexpensive hardware). Whilst it does everything it said it would do, the app constantly crashes on my phone if I click a notification. However, going in via the app itself is fine.
To have a motion sensor and sound sensor on a product this price is great, and it works really well, and comes with 3 sensitivity settings. Be warned, on the highest setting, even with “detect people only” active, a car driving past your house will trigger it (if you’re aiming it out the window as I am).
But other than me not understanding what I’m buying, I can’t fault this product beyond the app crashing, so less one star for just that reason.
