Clamp for swivel broke first time using, but seems to stay in place. Can tell it’s a cheap spotting scope. Does not to good in lowlight! Camera attachment doesn’t work very good. Hard to get setup. My opinion is to save up more and buy a reputable brand.

I highly recommend this. It does a great job. One review, outside of Amazon, said it was probably worth twice as much and I’d have to say I would agree with that.

I didn’t have opportunity to really try this scope. I checked it everything seems to work well. Tripod is too small and very flimsy but I didn’t purchase this for tripod. So far looks great if I encounter any problems I will update my review.

The attachment for the phone takes some getting used to but the scope itself is good. It will be nice when the weather gets better.

Just took it to the range. Attached my iPhone 8 Plus and it was fantastic. You would want to use it in conjunction with some reactive targets but for a budget scope it is nicely made. The carry case is excellent as well.

Ok this is not a $800 scope that’s why i rate this at 4 out of 5 over all it is light weight and dose what is meant too. Good for the money. As far as pictures and the camera adapter it’s fine and works if you have patience not something that can me put on and taken off back and forth. But like I said it’s dose what it was made to do and it dose it well! Good light gathering and easy to focus

Works well at the range. Mobile phone adapter is a bit of a puzzle with my model of phone, but that is a minor issue as I don’t really need it.

the quality of the very best. The optics were really good but the clamp to hold the phone on was too difficult to assemble. The tripod was flimsy and unstable making the lens very hard to focus.

I have had monoscopes through the years and paid well over what this cost me. Here is my quick review .
Build. Fantastic. Unlike older scopes I have had, this one has a ring around it that lets you twist the entire body around. Bearing driven, so that it clicks into place at small intervals. The ring is external to the body. So no interference with a sealed unit, which was my initial worry. End cap is like a camera cap, much better, with a screw on front cap. Tripod is what I expected, simple cheap, but okay for desk top viewing work. The phone mount is really well built. Steel and plastic parts, robust and once fitted correctly makes it easy to view. Suggest mounting the phone in daylight. I could not do it in the dark, too fiddly.
Viewing quality.
Have to say, spot on, no milky image here for me, clarity was good. Best option is always 20x as it lets the maximum amount of light in. Zooming in diminishes the light input but you get to see s lot more on a good sunny day.
Great for general viewing, celestial and always use a tripod.
Price. Bargain for £100. Well impressed, good buy.

I bought this for my partner for his birthday as a bit of fun in lockdown. But actually it has turned out to be a great project for him. Being a novice I can’t compare against stronger scopes, but was really impressed to see the craters on the edge of the moon. Would recommend for a first timer, not child toy though.

I bought this for my wife who has worked hard to tempt a variety of birds into our garden and loves watching them.
The magnification on the scope is great and the mount for a smartphone is a bit fiddly at first but works well once you get used to it. The video accompanying this review was shot using an iPhone 7.
I did mount the scope on a larger, sturdier tripod for her but the one it comes with is fit for purpose so no complaints there.
All in, I think this a good quality scope for the price and my wife seems to like it.
