Awesome floating handgrip. Zero issues at all with it. Can easily start recording while holding it and end recordings. Can also easily take a picture with it. I’m glad I went with an official GoPro accessory. I’d buy this again.

New to all this GoPro kit but needed to find a good handle to mount the camera on for moving in crowds etc. This is very comfortable and just what I want. Haven’t tried its floating ability yet. I like the lanyard that is attached to it for extra security in case it is jogged out of my hand. Very pleased so far.

Love this! It does float and feels great quality, you can tell the difference of the Gropro quality compared to the cheap ones you find. Make sure you have the newer attachment piece, also makes it either to switch accessories.

It’s padded, it floats, but it’s not worth $40. For my GoPro 8 I hoped it would come with a standard mount to thread to the handle without a case. It doesn’t. Look elsewhere for a better value.

You cannot take a picture or start recording using this stick. The stick is just a means to hold your GoPro. There should be a button where your hands are to start recording or take a picture. To activate the GoPro with this stick, you have to do it from the camera, which makes this stick almost useless.

I bought this particular floating grip as I intend to use it when walking around the streets, due to me having a backpack with the same quick release mount attachment on the strap – negating the need to screw/unscrew all the time.
Quality is great as always from GoPro, feels really nice and snug to hold, and most importantly – it floats!!

This comfy good sized floating handle for the GoPro is perfect for watersports, sailing etc.
Attach it to the GoPro and you have a solid handle to shoot video footage with, drop it in the water and the handle makes sure the device floats and can be retrieved from the water. Its Orange so easy to see in the sea.

I recently used this product on holiday and used it generally and also under water. It floats exactly as it should and is of a very high quality. I had purchased a pack of accessories (not GoPro) and was very disappointed with the quality of the float as bits fell off as I picked it up. This product is worth every penny of the £20 I paid for it. Please don’t risk losing your GoPro camera and buy the genuine GoPro Float. This is an excellent product. 10/10.
