Very impressed that the measurements shown on the chart in the pictures were reasonably accurate, was a little worried ordering from the States knowing their were differences between US and UK sizes. Now I know I can trust the chart and like the fit of these proper ladies means I can safely order more.

I love the quality, price, and comfort of the Amanda jeans, in both the classic fit and rail straight. Unlike other reviewers, I have found sizing to be pretty consistent, though I would say I do recommend ordering a size smaller than what you usually wear, because of the amount of stretch in them. (I would normally be in an 8, but the 6 fits better without the need for a belt.) These are my favourite jeans, and I love that Amazon has so many colours on offer, I’ll be buying more for sure! 🙂

I bought two pairs of these jeans in black because they fit so well and I need them for work. However, the down side is that they can get linty very easily and this is a nuisance. Perhaps it wouldn’t be so obvious in lighter colours. I will deal with the lint because at least I finally have pants that fit without issues. I am five foot four with a curvy lower body and it is so difficult to find a good fit! These are so comfortable and the waist hits at almost the perfect height. However after I bought these, I bought a pair of the “Amanda Petite Staight Leg Jeans” in blue and they fit even better. Apparently Short and Petite are not the same thing! The Petite jeans are very slightly higher- but not too high- in the rise and a lot smaller in the waist, in the same size. I need a belt with the short but not with the petite. Both fit well in the hips but the Petite are more fitted in the thighs. I am big in the hips but not so much in the thighs. For bigger thighs I would recommend the short over the petite. On me there is extra thigh fabric on the short but it doesn’t bag out at the sides in the horrible way I hate (as most curvy fit jeans do) it just kind of hangs in the back and looks relaxed.

I’m a repeat buyer on these jeans. Love that they come in a variety of colours (so far I have tan, purple/magenta, and this nice deep green). They fit true to size. My only downside is they seem to wrinkle pretty easily when wearing them. Could probably be solved with starching them. The colour on my other jeans faded a bit quickly so I’d recommend to only wash them with gentle detergent and short wash cycle.

Quality seems good, I would say they fit looser than most. I really should of sized down. Was hoping after washing they’d shrink but if anything they got even more loose. Also long for petite.

Very disappointed with these pants. I have always purchased Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans or pants and never had a problem with them..
After washing, hemming and wearing this pair I found out the left inseam did not run straight down but twisted at the bottom towards the front. Not up to the normal standards at all.

This product is well made and quite heavy duty but not what I expected as the description says “tapered legs” and the picture shows them as tapered and quite elegant. Maybe I got the wrong size and style sent. These are not my style and they did not fit well so I have returned them. As I’ve had to send them to Las Vegas USA I’m hoping the postage is refunded. I would use them for horse riding as they are of heavy material and would probably fit over boots.

I’ve ordered 2 pair, so far. The first ones fit so comfortably that I just had to have at least one more pair. I got the Scottsdale the first time (usual denim color). I wear a size 14 and ordered a 14. They fit like a glove. I don’t like my jeans longer than my shoe tops so the regular length will need shortening. The second pair are a light brown size 14, but this time I ordered “short”. They are perfect. I’m 5’5″, usually get a 30 inseam, so the short are exactly what I wanted. I’ll have to see if they have the same ones in a different color, for sure I’ll buy them. The stretch doesn’t distort the pants and is just enough to mold your body, they are flattering while also feeling good. I’m 66 and like my jeans to be at my natural waist line and these really do. Not to give you the impression that they are only for old ladies though, they look very nice.

Very good quality jeans for the price. They fit well except a wee bit too large at the back waist. I hope they don’t stretch too much when washed.. Lovely garment.

Jeans were not as described. I love Gloria Vanderbilt but too much material at the hip. They were supposed to be tapered and were not. I had ordered a size 4 and they fitted like a size 8. Disappointed.

I have purchased several pairs of Gloria Vanderbilt pants. All fitted perfectly, material id soft and feels nice to wear.
Washes and dries well in machines – washer and dryer.
