Gildan Mens Covered Waistband Boxer Brief Multipack

Son buenos para tener algunos calzones extras pero prefiero otras marcas incluso más baratas. Me desepcionaron mucho por qué se deshilachan muy fácilmente después de unas cuantas lavadas. Además las costuras son muy toscas y pican. Me los pongo cuando ya no tengo otro calzón que ponerme.

As always, it is hard to get the right size. However, these boxers are very nice, comfy and good deal for the price. Great for winter because the are thicker and longer than regular-fashion boxers. Some cons are that they are different colors (good) but also sizes, so ones fit me nice but others are a bit bigger, almost like shorts (it may be fixed after several wahsing/drying cycles) and some people may like thinner ones for sports, but I really like them, I got two packs and may get one more soon.

Yo soy bastante ancho, compré la talla 36-38 y me quedaron perfecto, sin apretar de ningún lado (ni cintura, ni piernas, ni entre pierna)… posiblemente me hubiera gustado más un poco más justo de la cintura, pero por el momento están muy cómodos.

Vienen los 5 de diferentes colores de buena tela.

Los recomiendo ampliamente, me voy a comprar otro paquete más, ya que sí me gustaron, los mejores ajustados que he tenido al momento.

I used to wear nothing but Calvin Klein cotton until they started using some synthetic blend that was tighter and less breathable. I looked around for something more like what I was used to and found these. They fit and feel the same as the much more expensive Calvin’s and are far more comfortable due to the covered elastic. Even my Calvin’s used to cause some binding and chaffing along the elastic line (not very often but especially when hot, like during exercise). The covered band eliminates that. Gildan is a Canadian company as well so I would much rather give them my business. So long as these are available I will wear nothing but.

Love the covered waist band. My skin irretates easy and elastic bands on clothing often gave me issues. This is a nice solution to that.

A bit on the small side, especially after wash. Porbabaly due to not having much elasticity in the fabric. The seams look like they traded strength for comfort so I can see how it would tear apart if being stretched.

The material is a lttle rough, but breathes well. Overall, I’d say it’s pretty good, but you might want to go one size up.

UPDATE – I urge you to continue reading the remainder of my original review, but felt that I needed to update based on recent developments. I’m knocking off one star because of some pairs that have begin to unravel around the waistband. After washing a couple of times I noticed thread / stitching from the elastic in the waistband. It happened to two pairs, so I’m hoping that will be it and all the others will be fine. Time will tell I suppose. Overall it is still a good value for how many pairs that you are getting, but I am going to knock off one star.

These are great for the price range. Moisture wicking, thick waistband, and thick material overall. Probably more suited for fall, winter, and spring as opposed to the middle of summer, but on the other hand, think of the amount of urine dribbles it can absorb! I found they fit well for the most part and the legs didn’t ride or bunch up just as advertised; however, I did find that they were just a “tad” on the smaller side than the same size in my more common brand. No biggie as they weren’t squeezing my testicles and did a great job of holding the genitals in place. I’ve never worn anything by Gildan before, but these were good enough to convince me to try some of their other products in the future.
