If this is actually Garmin. They should re-evaluate this product. Fully charged it lasted about 3 hours. Compare that to Energizer lithium. I am going on 2 weeks of lite use and a 4 hour hike. Still have a full charge indicator.

Absolute garbage. Was showing 50 percent charge left after an hour in my 64s gps unit. An hour later there was a single bar left and I swapped them out for the lithium batteries I’d bought as backup.
Feel ripped off.

Get some Duracells or similar for a quarter of the price, and use a bit of plastic underneath them to hold down the “ok to charge in the device” microswitch. Their capacity is also poor – 2000mAh vs 2500 for Duracells. Someone in Garmin really does have a low opinion of their customers!

The exact rechargeable NiMH battery pack that originally came with my Garmin Oregon 600t. Very happy I was able to replace the original battery pack that came with my device from the factory. If they hold up as well as the originals they should last me another 4+ years.

no instructions with it what so ever. does not work in GPS while plugged into power cord in truck, stays on charge. works only when you use gps with power cord accessory attached.

The batteries I received would not hold a charge. Upon inspection I found that they bore a date stamp ’03/2013′ although whether this is an expiry date or not I have no way of knowing. Unfortunately I didn’t have an opportunity to try to charge these until after the returns expiry date. My fault, but I don’t order thinks with the intention of returning them. The fact remains that the batteries were useless.

Although the delivery from California to Canada took almost two weeks, it was worth the wait. Fit easily in my Garmin Oregon 600 and seems to hold it’s charge well (although it wasn’t fully charged upon receipt).

It’s a battery.
Well sort of…….
It’s two batteries in a little plastic sleeve-y thingamajig!
So far so good.
Expensive though.
Hopefully it’s gonna be worth it to buy these over cheap ones.
Reboot –
I purchased these rechargeable batteries when I purchased my Garmin 64St. They don’t seem to hold the charge. When I fully charge them, and I don’t use them within 24hours, they go dead. So I have to recharge them again. not what I expected.

You probably know what you’re going to get before actually using this product. Like every other rechargeable battery, it’s not going to work as well as a non-rechargeable but, on the plus side, you won’t feel like a dick for throwing out all sorts of batteries. I often have a tough time rationalizing battery use when I’m heading into the woods recreationally. This product is nice because I can still use my GPS without feeling like I’m poisoning the environment. That said, it’s good enough for day use but for cases where reliability is a requirement, I’d bring some non-rechargeable battery backup just in case.

I have stopped using tis battery, as it does not hold its charge compared to normal Ni-Mh batteries, because of the way it is designed it cant be charged in a normal Ni-Mh battery charger, it has to be charged in the Garmin GPS, and that takes for ever. I shall not be buying any more of these batteries, cheaper to by Sanyo Enalope?

These batteries have terrible capacity. I can’t even use them for a day in my Garmin 64s. In comparison, I have the standard Eneloop rechargeable batteries, which last several days in the same GPS unit. Maybe the Garmin batteries I got were faulty, but I really do not recommend these. Waste of money.
