Instructions were a bit confusing but once you start is easy to crack on and finish it fast. A very sturdy bookcase and very reliable.

My bookcase arrived with no attaching hardware. Did what was instructed in packaging and contacted company. Was told they couldn’t send me screws and cam connectors, so I just wasted my time. Called Amazon – THEY WERE AMAZING – highly recommend AMAZON! Sent me another unit but even with the screws and connectors, this piece of junk bookcase would not hold together and was a fall apart risk. I would NEVER BUY FROM FURINNO AGAIN! Don’t waste your time and energy on cheaply made stuff like this.

I did not like the weak cardboard backing that was basically very weak and easily tore when handling!
I was very surprised and not impressed!! The wood work finish would have been better quality!! I know I would have bought better else where

Parts of this shelf are hard to assemble. The process came to a screeching halt when I noticed there are missing parts. When I go to the manufacturer website, they won’t replace parts if you don’t live in the lower 48 states. Since I am in Canada, I now have $150 of trash.

I purchased two white shelves. Just put them together tonight with the help of my teenage daughter. Instructions are ok if you take your time and read it a few times. Follow each step properly and you will build a good shelf. I use them to store my collectibles and I set them up side by side in my bedroom. I did not affix it to the wall just left it free standing. It’s pretty sturdy to me but for very heavy items it may tip so be mindful. All I used was a screwdriver, easy! fun fact.. there are two separate pieces so when you lift it up it may separate but all you do is click it back in and make sure the backing cardboard piece is secured properly. No biggie. Boxes delivered were not damaged, just dusty from travel. All the parts were new and present in the box. I love the white colour. I am pretty happy with it and it looks good! I’m now purchasing a third shelf for my daughter’s room because she wants one. Good luck!

Poor product , panels wrongly identified and predrilled holes drilled on wrong sides, backing made from cardboard not hardboard, gaps between shelving panels and sides, definatly not worth the money , I would never buy again or pay £63.40 !!!

Terrible. At first I was impressed with its sturdiness and easy building. Yet a month or so later it’s collapsed. With no extra bits or bolts this is now rendered useless. Don’t waste your money.

For the price it doesn’t look very good. The middle shelf is fixed so it’s like 2 units sitting on top of each other. The other shelves are adjustable. I still have to put more of the nails in the back as it looks wavy, not a flat back. Also had a sticker on the side and when pulled off it peeled the black color off. I used a black marker to fill in the white peeled spot. Would of returned it but too much work

First I want to start off by saying I buy alot of furniture off of Amazon. Bed frames, dressers, shelves etc. I have never had an issue with any of them and none of them were expensive. So the fact that this is on the cheaper end is no excuse for their terrible quality control. The instructions are okay, could be better but manageable. Fairly sturdy once put together I just wouldn’t move it too much. My biggest issue here is I ordered 2 of same models and the back boards are different. Not only are they quite literally thinner than a puzzle, but I received 2 different ones for the same model. One has a wood print, the other is plain black. Super annoying because these are going next to each other so it looks ridiculous. The pre drilled screw holes were on one part of one shelf, and not there on the other shelf. The back boards also don’t fit properly on the bottom half of both shelves. This is basic stuff. Im not sure if quality control is blind or just doesn’t care, but its really annoying. 100 bucks is 100 bucks and there is no excuse for all these issues. Thankfully I was lucky enough not to have missing parts or large damage like other reviewers. I feel like they know it’s just too much effort for people to return these things so they do the bare minimum and still get their money. The positives with the product are that they are sturdier than I thought, I just wouldn’t move it too much. Its also worth noting that at least for the 5 tier one, the top is not black, it’s exposed particular board but they conveniently don’t show that in the pictures, just on the instructions.

Instructions ripped, damaged corner, packs of screws opened and cormers of units damaged. Flimsy piece of rubbish, the back is cardboard no thicker than a puzzle. Wobbly and of extremely poor quality…only keeping as for Daughters bedroom, but thinkI should receive a discount. Do not buy.

Produit vraiment de très TRÈS mauvaise qualité. J’aurais dû vérifier les commentaires avant l’achat…
Plan incomplet, manque de vis pour assembler les 2 parties, recouvrement noir si fin et de mauvais qualité qu’on ne peut pas enlever les étiquettes numérotées sans détruire la couche noire. Un cauchemar. J’ai dû inventer pour faire tenir ensemble les sections du haut et du bas.
Et… je suis prise avec, très malheureusement. Mon expérience avec Amazon est généralement excellente, mais les 2 ou 3 meubles que j’y ai achetés ne valent pas la peine. Et causent de la peine de travail inutile. MAUVAIS ACHAT. PLUS DE $100!!! Plus jamais!

Not happy with the quality based on the price I paid. Product arrived damaged and because I do t have a car or access to a car to bring it back to mail it back so I have to work with this cause it was too heavy as well to take it by bus. I will fix it as best I can. Good thing it doesn’t effect the stability of it or I hope that bottom bar doesn’t effect it. For those wondering I used super glue to glue the piece back on and to try to stabilize the crack.

I snagged this for a really great price. Its a bit wobbly due to its height and thin wood, but for under $40, I cant complain at all. It holds my boardgames just fine.
If they had put a solid back on it, that might have helped with stability.
Its not super sturdy but as long as you avoid climbing on it, or overloading it with heavy stuff, it will work fine. I would advide this bookshelf be more for light stuff instead of a bunch of big heavy books. Boardgames or craft supplies would be my recommendation. Maybe to display a few art pieces
