Gopro Hero 3 fits perfectly in the case. The Front glass seems clear and scratch free. I like the added lens cover, nice touch. I just wish it had somewhere to attach when not in use. I may add velcro to the back.
Seems about as durable as the original case! Time will tell. The Anti-fog sheets seem useful, haven’t tested them yet. I put 3 inside the case, probably only needed 1.

This is a solid protective case! I mostly used my Hero 7 Silver for snowboarding and Hikes. I realized i should invest in a case a couple weeks ago. Of course this was after taking a tree to the helmet while boarding lol.
Pros: Great bang for your buck.
The case it’s self feels exactly like a top-tier case. It’s nice and clear and the plastic is nice and THICC.
This case also comes with a ton of anti-fog strips. You’ll never have to buy them again lol.
Delivery was fast and only took two-days.
Cons: The mount this thing comes with, feels like it came out of a happy meal. (Easy fix, just swap it out with a better mount.)
The Hero 7’s touch screen is already bad on it’s own. Thick Plastic = no touch screen control while it’s in it’s case. (You can use the GoPro App to control your GoPro. Or just unclip the top and you’ll gain access to the touch screen.)

I liked it very much. I wasnt sure at first but when i got it and I kept my new gopro8 inside, I felt relieved cos it keeps firm and it does exactly like the brand name would do. Basically you dont really need to buy Gopro accessories when this does the same job. I would definitely recommend to others.

I bought this case to protect my GoPro on a 4 day cycle event. I had the GoPro mounted to my bike for the 4 days in Ireland, we had mixed conditions from sunshine to torrential rain and it worked perfectly keeping the camera dry and safe. I’ve not tested it in water but after the showers of rain it went through I’d have no hesitation bringing it into water.

Dive Housing VS Standard Housing
-What’s the difference between them?
1. Dive housing has screws around the lens.
2. Dive housing buttons are smaller than the standard’s housing.
3. Different latch system.
4. Dive housing are 0.4 inch Bigger and 35% Thicker than the standard’s housing.
5. Different diving depth: 131’/40m vs 197’/60m
Summary:
Hero 4,3+ and 3 all can fit in both housings.
But dive housing can go as deep as 197’/60m and much more stronger.

Definatly a strong case! It has taken some hard hits. I find the video quality has been reduced having to have a camera inside and has to record through the thick plastic. This quality issue is pretty minor overall. I would rather take a bit of video quality out of the camera than to damage a camera. The recording mic hasn’t been effected with this case. So far pretty happy and it attaches to all GoPro and aftermarket mounts I have… and I have a lot of them. If something changes I will update the post.

I was looking for a case to protect my GoPro – this case does the trick. Some of the benefits: it’s a clear case so you still get to appreciate the look of your GoPro, it has a good clip and also comes with anti-fog inserts that helps your GoPro in various weather conditions. Really happy with the purchase, would recommend. Another bonus is the price – but no sacrifice to the product design.

The case is a better quality replacement to the stock GoPro case. The door’s locking hinge on the stock case snaps easily from repeated use but this case has a modified hinge that is easier to use and stronger. I also appreciated how it came with extras like a lens hood cover that also covers the power button for when you don’t want it to acidentslly turn on.

It’s pretty tough! I like that the tightening knob has turn fins for better tightening! The cover took a rolling rc buggy impact at 50km and has no cracks. I’m satisfied.
