I got a Fitbit (same model as this) for Christmas, and I was obsessed with it, but then during the summer, once I changed the band back to the original Fitbit one my wrist started burning. I contacted Fitbit and went through a refund process with them. ONLY to purchase THIS watch again (hoping the burns were just a one off) not too long ago, and within a week my wrist was burnt yet again. Hoping changing the band will solve my problem, as I’d like to wear my watch without literally feeling my skin burn. Not happy about spending quite a bit of money on a watch, only to have to immediately pay more money for a new band.
Other then physical injury, the watch features are great, only reason I purchased a second.

Another update before I return my watch for the second time: it’s 5:36am and my watch says that I slept 8 hours. I’ll upload the imagine. I went to bed at 11:15 and woke up at 5 am. I can’t believe how off the sleeping app is today.
An update: my Sister got a new Fitbit versa for me again and I wore both Apple Watch and Fitbit Watch. The step count was very different. Almost 3 thousand more steps with the Fitbit. It counted extra 800 steps while I was in the resting position. Ones again I contacted the Fitbit asking them why this has happened, they told me Apple and other devices count steps differently. 2856 step difference is huge though.
My wife just got her Fitbit Versa 2 yesterday and went swimming with it as it today. The watch initially worked for a few minutes while using the swimming app. After 20 minutes she came out and the watch was totally off. We tried to charge it everything but it seams that it got water fried. It’s supposed to be water resistant up to 50 meters! The pink band was bought separately. Original was purple. Had exactly same problem with last generation Versa. And from googling it seams that we are not alone with this problem. I returned my watch and asked Fitbit if they would give a discount if I buy a new watch they said they will not. Well I guess I’ll just save up extra and get an Apple Watch. Will definitely send all the videos I had made to the bloggers so others won’t make the same mistake.

It’s good enough for what I need: has good battery life (3+days), a bright screen, can be dressed up or down with a change of bands, looks nice on a smaller wrist, and is less expensive. It doesn’t capture all the advanced metrics as more expensive fitness watches and doesn’t have built in GPS, but for my fitness level (beginner), I think it’s a good solution to keep me on track.
If you’re buying this in Canada, note that the pay is pretty much useless, as there are only a couple compatible banks. Also, you need premium accounts with Spotify or Deezer for the music apps to work. That said, you’ll always have your phone on you if you want gps tracking, so not a big deal.
If you own an iPhone, get an Apple watch…. It’s way more sophisticated and you can get an older series for about the same price as the fitbit.
There are better Android smart watches out there (Samsung active and Fossil Gen5 come to mind), but if you’re looking for something simpler, less expensive, and with better battery life, then consider the fitbit.

Todavía me ha llegado hoy, pero la primera impresión es muy positiva. Buen diseño, muy bonito, y a mi novia le ha encantado. Se puede ver mensajes de WhatsApp y contestarlos por voz, lo cual no estaba muy seguro de que podría. Además funciona muy bien, incluso dictando frases largas de unos 8 segundos y sin fallos (sin decir palabras muy raras, pero incluso con alguna palabra sencilla e inventada la puso bien). Actualizaré la reseña en los próximos días.
Edit1: Todo iba genial hasta que desde hace dias no hay manera de recibir notificaciones de WhatsApp, el resto funciona bien. Será una actualización defectuosa, espero que lo corrijan pronto si no…
Edit2: WhatsApp ya funciona bien, y no tengo más quejas reportadas por mi novia 🙂

購入使用開始して3日経った頃、装着している腕が痛痒くなり、赤くなってしまいました。
毎日清潔を保ったりしていてもです。どうも、脈拍センサーのLEDが光って肌に当たっている部分が炎症を起こしているみたいです。
反対側の腕に装着してみましたが、そちらにも同じ症状が出ました。
カスタマーサポートへ連絡し、現在対応待ちですが、また状況がわかったら追記したいと思います。
商品はとても良いと思っているので、使えないのは残念です。

I thought at first I was wearing the unit too tight or maybe I wasn’t used to wearing a watch again however, the red mark on my arm turned into a blister – I was amazed that the Fitbit burned my arm!
Until that point it was great – really liked it! However the fact it’s getting that hot that it causes blisters is crazy. Have issued for a refund but would appreciate the company to reach out to me.

スマートウォッチを買うのは初なので他と比べることはできませんが、3日使った使用感です。
◆良い点:
・有機ELで画面がきれい。
液晶と比べるとやはり有機ELはきれいです。
黒がちゃんと「黒」で、視認性が高いです。
解像度は低くドット感はあります。
個人的には解像度は求めていないので全く問題ありませんが…
・レスポンスが早い
フリックやタッチをしたときの画面の操作性が良いです。ストレスなく操作できます。
・電池持ちが良い
丸一日使用して100%→80%で電池の持ちはかなり良さそうです。24時間心拍数を取り続けてこれは良いですね。使用頻度としては会社のメールやslackの通知とプライベートなLINEなどの通知を一日約50通程度は受け取っていて、さらに買ったばかりなのでけっこうな頻度で弄っています。
・通知の種類が多い
基本的にスマホ(Android9)に来た通知は受け取れます。設定から通知をするアプリを選択する方式です。Gmail,LINE,slack,カレンダーの通知を受け取っていますが、どれも遅延なく通知されます。
LINEは簡単な定型文であれば、スマホ本体を触らずに返信できます。
音声入力も日本語で使えるので、言葉を発して差し支えない場所であれば、複雑な文でも返信可能です。
・alexaが便利
自宅をalexaでスマートホーム化していますが、常に身に着けている時計から操作できるようになったのはかなり便利です。主な買う決め手になったのはここです。後述しますが、若干反応が悪く感じる時があります。
◆悪い点:
・alexaの操作にコツが要る
ボタンを長押ししてalexaを起動しただけでは音声認識は開始されません。
恐らくですが音圧を感知し、しきい値を超えた場合に開始されるようです。
そのため、小声で操作しようとすると認識されないことがあります。
コツとして、マイク部分を指でポンと叩いてから話し始めると小声でも認識されます。
・日本語対応しているアプリが少ない
というかアプリ自体が少ないです。通知前のカレンダーの予定を確認出来たら便利だと思ったのですが、googleやmicrosoftは参入していなさそうで、サードパーティのやたらと権限を要求してくるアプリしかなかったので怖くてインストールしていません。
開発環境がしっかりと用意されているようなのでこれから自分で作りたいと思います。
・Always on Displayが微妙
versa2から追加された機能のようですが、ウォッチフェイスは予め用意されているものしか使えません。モノクロでアナログとデジタルの2種類のみです。
電池持ちに関わる部分なので仕方ないのですが…
。
画面をONにする設定を「自動(動作)」にしている場合でも、常に表示されているウォッチフェイスからアプリを操作する画面に行くには、腕を動かす＋ダブルタップの動作が必要です。
・ベゼルが広い
黒背景であれば有機ELなのでベゼルとの境界が目立たないため気にはなりませんが、ベゼルは狭くないです。前作と比べると画面サイズは大きくなったようですが。
◆総評:
初めてのスマートウォッチでしたが、買って良かったです。
通知とalexaがかなり便利で、心拍数24hと睡眠トラッキングが面白いです。
今後スマートウェイク機能が追加されるようなので楽しみです。

The product was extremely disappointing. The software is extremely slow and seems like basic android. It feels very claustrophobic to use, as the usage is very tight. Music doesn’t make sense to use, as you need a constant Bluetooth connection to your phone, it’s basically just a middle man. I can’t even use it, in order to connect my Bluetooth headphones, I need to disconnect the Bluetooth from my phone, which also disconnects the Fitbit. 🤦
It also requires you to also dive deep into the garbage app which does a lot for the device. Such as it allows you to change the clock to anything you want from the free store. However most clocks require you to log in online and pay for it, if not rendering it useless. Nice.
This was all within 2h of using the device. Overall pretty displeased with this product. Will prob look at a basic Fitbit, as that’s what they are best at.

Received today, and so far works great. Set up was easy. A little complicated if you’ve never used a Fitbit it before, getting apps to work was a tad tricky. Color is definitely not the same as the image, but still a lovely shade of dark purp’e . Overall, it’s light. Both small and large bands are included (small is already attached..) they aren’t very easy to change (took a little while to figure out). Connected with my iPhone 7 very easily & receiving notifications no problem! Can’t wait to test out the sleep tracking and see if it actually keeps up with my workouts.

This is the first mid end tracker that I’ve ever bought.
I like the rose/burgundy colour match. Even my wife likes it so I have to keep it from her (until I can afford another one 😁 ;).)
The app is easy to use and the only problem I find with it is that it doesn’t remember the watch faces you’ve found (you can’t add it to favourites or bookmark it). Plus switching the watch face is a major issue (you have to goto the web, find the watchface, install and repeat process if you want to switch again)
The apps are easier to work with. You can rearrange them on the Versa 2 itself after you’ve installed it from the app. Removing them is also easy, again from the app.
Alexa is popping up everywhere, so why not here :D. So far the mic is a little iffy. It picks up every now and then. So not sure at this point if it’s am issue or not. Going to try a bit of troubleshooting before contacting FitBit tech support.
Answering calls is a bit tricky and I haven’t figured out where the issue is as of yet. Call comes through, I tap the green accept button and all I get is air. My phone also crashes as none of the soft buttons work except the home key. Again, it only happens with certain call I receive. Have to do further troubleshooting on this as well.
It took a bit of time to figure out the messages interface. It is still a little buggy though. I would get messages from WhatsApp and not Messenger or SMS. Or I would get SMS and nothing else. Plus the single reply makes this virtually useless. Example, I reply to one thread and it clears my messages
So far the only major disappointment is FitPay. It uses only 5 banks in Canada (and I only recognise RBC, don’t even know who the other ones are). So I can’t go out and leave my phone and wallet behind.
Nothing is perfect, except my wife :). The Versa 2 has some faults but they are livable. Hopefully they work out some of the bugs.

Versa2 is not what I expected. this watch needs the phone at all the time to sync to even give the correct time. I am not satisfied with the product.

スマートウォッチの中では、機能を含めものすごくいいものだと思う。
他の方も書かれていたが、装着して3日目位で写真のような傷（グロくてすいません）が出来た。
光が何らかの影響を与えているのでしょうか?
気に入っているので、左右交互に装着しています。
文字盤も無料な物がもっとたくさんあるといいなと思います。
