Twilight –
Purchased the Fitbit Ace 2 for my daughters birthday from a different seller. Unfortunately this item stopped working and the display froze after 2 months of use. Refunded this faulty item and as my daughter preferred the purple option I ordered the replacement watch from Amazon. This is a lovely colour and the fitbit in itself is perfect in size and shape for a 10 year old. The display is really clear and the watch is easy to use. The slight down side was due to the age of my daughter she is unable to have a separate app for herself so I connected it to my app. Isn’t the best at downloading to the app and frequently tells me it cannot download but in reality she is more interested in her step count on a daily basis than seeing the last few weeks information. Unfortunately 2 months after purchasing this replacement product the screen has stopped working therefore rendering it useless. Really disappointed we have had this problem. I did note the mix of reviews prior to purchase but felt a second chance purchase was worth a go but it seemed I was wrong. Such as shame as it could be a really good product if the reliability was there.

For first 9-12 months this was ok – hard to connect to app on phone and hard to ensure it was charging – but ok. But now at 18 months it has become very glitchy indeed – wrong time, wrong charge displayed, screen freezes, cant connect to app…. really disappointing as, for kids, it’s much nicer than adult version. Will not buy again.

Terrible just like the last Fitbit I purchased off Amazon. Quit after less than 2 months (was a Christmas present for an 8 year old). Won’t hold time and won’t sync to the app. Randomly freezes and the screen can’t be changed. Contacted Amazon and was told I was out of luck. Contacted Fitbit direct to be told the same thing. 30 day warranty for this type of product is disgusting in this day and age.

Only issue is the kids fire tablet does not work with it so that is a pain.
