Love this product will probably order another for bedroom tv. Very easy to hook up and download apps. I usually have to ask my kids to assist but was able to do everything myself!

I’ve been using Roku for a couple years now and an older Firestick. The Firestick took so long to even load the homepage that I quit using it altogether and only used the Roku. I saw the Firestick light version on sale and decided to give it another shot. I’ve been using it for a little over a week now and I love it and now use it almost exclusively. It’s fast, easy to use and let’s me watch so much content is unbelievable. I’m so happy with this purchase. If you’re in the fence about buying one, go for it, you won’t regret it.

I was surprised to find out it needed a separate power source. It would be OK if the included wall adaptor wasn’t so long and if the cable could be plugged from the side, not from behind. Most TVs todays are hung on a wall and there isn’t much room behind. I had to buy a different wall adaptor to be able to plug it in. A small flaw like this completely ruined my buyer experience despite an otherwise excellent piece of technology. A failure on the part of the designers. Hope they can fix it in the next model.

Easy to connect to TV with a HDMI input. Easy to download apps that you want. Just one word of caution. If you don’t want to download apps that require payment, be sure to look for those “free” indicated. Also you must have your Amazon billing account up-to-date, even you only download free apps. One more thing, you will also get a billing email for any downloaded apps, whether or not costs are involved. Apps that I want are YouTube and Netflix and some news channels. So there were no problems at all. The remote also works very well. Comparing to the old Apple TV remotes, the Fire TV remote is refreshingly helpful. As only had it for less than a month, I hope the reliability is good.

Awesome product. Compared it with my Apple TV and found this so much better and had all the streaming Apps. Very easy to use and set up.

Takes a bit effort to open a remote to insert batteries into it. I had to watch you tube video to figure out how to connect it to my TV. Besides it was pretty easy to get this working.
