It isnt bad build quality, just the eye relief is awful and not good enough to safely use on a real gun.

Magnifier works well, I especially like the ability to adjust focus. The view through the magnifier is very clear, and the pivot/mount assembly mounts securely with no wobble or looseness others have mentioned. Being a lefty, I really like the fact that it’s reversible for both left and right handed shooters. The magnifier locks securely into place with the push of a button whether you want it up out of the way or down in position for use.

I did have a problem with the magnification adjustment ring. At first it was a bit stiff and I could feel it catch as it was adjusted. After about two weeks, it became stuck and I couldn’t change magnification at all. Customer service is excellent, and I received a replacement unit in two days. The new one’s magnification adjustment is much smoother, and I’m very happy with this item.

It seemed like a nice product for the price but it did not line up with vortex crossfire red dot unfortunately so I sent it back.

Well the build quality is good and the flip mount is solid with no wobble, but FOV is too wide, that if you have an open style reflex sight, not only you will even see your sight frame but also the ambient view. And this won’t change on any magnification.

The lens quality is very acceptable and it is very nice to have focus adjust but it has another HUGE drawback.
No matter how you center your dot in this scope, your point of aim (Red Dot) drifts to the right and up.

You can basically set on one magnification and have to stick with it, which kills the purpose of the variable magnification. I tried 2 of these so I assume it is pretty safe to say it is a thing with this magnifier.

But the M36 from Feyachi is free from these problems. The only thing is it does not have focus adjust, but we don’t buy red dot magnifiers for long range precision shooting so this is acceptable to me.

it’s a nice scope, I like the switch is manual and not spring loaded to not wildly fly off to the side, it attaches with a screw that you can use your hand to tighten on instead of a tool.
Though a part of me somewhat regrets this purchase because it’s a scope without the a reticle you need to combine it with a red dot or holosight, which is what I purchased it for but it’s not as good as I was desiring.

It’s not bad, it’s made of solid material but there are better options to choose from.

Important! Make sure that the clearance of your red-dot or holographic sight has a clearing of 37mm! That’s 37mm from the base surface to the center of the optic. If it sits any higher, it won’t align fully, I found out the hard way. But this point is not a review of the product, but my mistake, is your wisdom.

As far as the review of the actual item, it is a solidly built magnifier that is clear, and I’m not worried about it getting banged up. You can adjust the magnification and focus on the M37 model. It does take up more area than just using an ACOG, but it offers more flexibility and variable magnification form 1.5x to 5x, or one handed flip it to the left side for unobstructed 1x quick shooting of your holosight. I do use this on an airsoft rifle, not a real firearm, so I can’t speak to how well it stays on when dealing with recoil.

Despite it not aligning 100% with my holosight, the added bit of extra horizon to the bottom of the picture doesn’t bother me, and when you increase the magnification, you are end up looking past that horizon anyway. So it is still totally useable.

Whole magnifier wobbles as the pivot mechanism is very loose (in terms of an optic mount) causing the whole magnifier to move while shooting. The outter lens (front) must have some deviation in it, when I back off zoom from 2x back down to 1x, the whole lense essentially lifts upwards as it’s brought down to the lowest zoom setting. This pushes your sight window up and to the right into the frame of your front optic.
Over all very disappointed. Wish I had of tried it sooner and not waiting so long I didn’t have warranty.

Having it in my hands but not taken it to the range, it’s like I wish this $100 optic was a $200 optic. There are no outstanding issues that jump out at you, but the quality is just slightly lacking all round. Looking through the optic, for lack of a better word, the image is just a bit mushy. You can get the focus dialed in well enough to see and identify anything important, but nailing the focus to perfect crisp edges is impossible. The image shifts around a little as you adjust the magnification, which is definitely not ideal, and the lowest power looks an awful lot more like 1x than 1.5x on mine. The actual magnification mechanism just seems to have a little more wobble in it than it should, despite the adjustment ring being very satisfying to turn. Overall, it just makes you wish there was something with a little higher price tag, no more than $100, and a correspondingly better image and zoom quality. The exterior build quality is excellent, which makes the quality of the image disappointing.

Since that was a bunch of gripes, some good things. The finish is very nice, it looks very slick and is built almost seamlessly. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the included mount, it tightens down very nicely to both picatinny and the optic, and mine has zero wobble in the swing-to-side mechanism.

A great budget gadget for a range toy.

It’s a great magnifier that can be set up quickly since it only has the single locking nub for tactical rails. It’s easy to adjust the magnification and it even has a focus adjustment knob, which helps if you wear glasses.

The push-release works great and once you get used to switching between the red dot and the magnifier, it’s easy to sight down using either method.

As some have said, eye relief is limited so you do have to practice getting your eye at the right distance when looking down the sights. Also, the only thing is making sure that your red dot is the correct height for the magnifier since the first I tried was too low on the rails, but the second worked great.

Packaging was very nice although the lens should’ve had a plastic film over it. The body itself also had some minor scratches. This was an easy install, camera doesn’t do it justice because the red dot was so much more crisp through the scope in person. It lined up perfectly with my red dot also from feyachi, I highly recommend them as they have great service and products!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

Might be hard to convey with the video, but this magnifier is not worth buying.

I owned a vortex set (Sparc solar + 3x magnifier) for my hunting setup, so I thought getting something similar for my tactical .22. Turns out this is just nothing but disappointment.
The magnifier has a not-so-common mounting height, so it is slightly misaligned with my other vortex red dot scope. Easy enough to correct, just need to find a insert to level it off.
The biggest drawback is, the optical performance is really bad. The dot and the entire reticle shifts when zooming from 1.5x to 5x, and after running it back and forth a few times the dot drift away from its original position.

I’m not sure if this was caused by shipping, since I don’t think the carrier would treat any of their package too well. But with all the proper packaging materials in the box, I highly doubt shipping is the cause.

I have not yet taken it to the range to test it, and honestly I don’t want to either. This magnifier might be great for look and feel, the construction quality is surprisingly good. But I’m paying for optical performance and quality that I can use for precision shooting, not something that mounts on top of an airsoft.
