Design: 5 stars
This magnifier feels and looks like a big named brand product.
If they would have finished it with a matte black, like a Sig Sauer it would look like they were a pair.
Sizing is pretty good considering this is a 1.5x – 5x magnifier. Compared to my Sightmark x5, the Feyachi looks like a mini.
Controls/Usability: 4.5
The main dial to control variable zoom feels smooth with a small touch of stiffness which secures the orientation of the dial where you set it at.
The dial has ridges for grip when turning and it also has a set of smaller ridges to indicate which zoom option you’re in.
As for the adjustment screw sets, they are easy to turn which I personally didn’t like. It made me feel like they will come loose eventually after a couple of training session. There’s no click or feedback when turning. The other downfall I have with the adjustment screws, is that they sit deep into the unit a bit too much, leaving room for dirt or other small particles to get it and possibly jam a screw. The swivel mount is well designed and has little play to it. The release button to move the unit off site has a good level of resistant but enough to press with ease but not accidental. The swivel mount works best when it swings to the left because you can keep your firing hand (if right handed) on the grip but the angle is limited so it blocks your vision from your left eye if your right eye dominant. Easy fix, turn the mount so it swings to the right.
Performance: 5 Stars
I was doubting this magnifier at first. Also when I noticed a bigger grouping on my red dot I was blaming the magnifier but in reality the red dot does not like really with work with a x3 or above magnification. This product is a must buy if you’re looking for a magnifier!

This 1.5-5x magnifier is a solid product. It adjusts easily both to zoom in and out, and to adjust the magnifier to the red dot. Eye relief is good, you won’t have to adjust your face when changing zoom. It is in my airsoft gun for now but if this setup grows on me I’ll add it to my ar-15. This is a good magnifier for someone who wants to achieve a dual setup without breaking the bank. Feel free to ask any questions.

At first look this product seem to be extremely sturdy and well-built. Well I was right about the magnifier but not so much about the mount. The magnifier itself is very clear as compared to other more high dollar magnifiers which I do own from various other companies. My only disappointment with this product was the mount. Initially it mounted fairly sturdy but after one day of putting it through the paces on my suppressed 9 mm carbine (about 300 rounds) the mount failed. The mount retained its ability to stay on the rail but the plunger button mechanism would no longer work correctly. The magnifier would not click into place and stay there as advertised. I have since ordered another sturdier mount and I’m waiting for its arrival. Before the failure, I was quite impressed with the clarity of the glass the ease at which it can be focused. Eye relief at the higher magnification’s is somewhat unforgiving but doable. The sweet spot for me was at three time magnification. I may have just been one of the unlucky ones as this product has good reviews and I can see why. Again, my only complaint about this product was the mount itself so if you want to roll the dice I think it would still be worth it. The ability to magnify in increments are well worth the cost and the minor inconvenience.

This product works… so long as you set it at a specific magnification and leave it there. Of course, that negates the entire point of having a variable magnification scope!
Here was my experience:
1) I set it up on my rifle at 1.5x magnification.
2) As I increased magnification, I found that I needed to position my eye closer to the scope in order to maintain a clear picture. If I didn’t do this, large portions of my field of view were obstructed by shadow.
3) I re-set the scope, then found that as I decreased magnification I needed to reduce the distance between my eye and the scope.
At full magnification, there was 3″ between my eye and the lens. At least magnification, there was 2″. An inch difference may not seem like much, but it requires changing position on an adjustable stock and is an insurmountable obstacle with a fixed stock.
I really wanted this to work as it would have solved a big issue for me, but until and unless they can keep the focal point fixed there’s no reason for me to own this. I returned it and went back to using a fixed magnification scope.

I gave this a five star review because it works as promised with a clear objective lens and is a very good value for money. The product also comes with a limited lifetime warranty and the tool need to install the magnifier. The magnifier was super easy to install quickly and securely.
I also love that you can adjust the centering of the red dot so that it can be perfectly centered with any red dot that you use. It’s also really fortunate that they include a mount for the magnifier that can swing the magnifier out of the way if you want to engage closer range targets.

Just took a while to be packaged and shipped. In the time waiting for it to arrive I wished I had ordered the newer version but once it arrived it is good value for the money.

Ok for the price. Eye relief is average at 3x zoom. At 5x the eye relief is poor, making it hard to sight through. Your eye needs to be perfectly positioned along the very center of the eyepiece and must be just the right distance back from the eyepiece in order to get a sight picture.
Overall it is very usable especially at 3x which at least means it satisfies most zoom needs. It is nice to have up to a 5x zoom even if it is a bit difficult to be properly positioned to view at the highest magnification. It does the job and is very usable but I wouldn’t buy it again. I would spend the money and get a higher quality magnifier.
I cannot comment on the flip-to-side mount as I am using a UTG mount only since the quick-release was just a bit better fit with the side charging handle clearance on my Norinco T97 Gen 3. I have the charging handle on the left side and the mount flips to the right when not in use.
I have an LPVO 1 – 8x sight which I prefer to a red dot with flip-to-the side magnifier combination. I find the LPVO provides much better optical quality and is more usable across all magnifications. With the red dot / magnifier combo, the red dot gets somewhat distorted at higher magnification. This is partially corrected by adjusting the eyepiece focus. Still more time wasted when seconds count.
