These are really strong good quality and ideal for holding back drops in place the orange tip adjusts to hold what ever its grasping properly. Used for several different things they really held this surprise birthday banner when we decorated a work colleagues house held it up in strong winds all day they would grasp up to approx 4cm or 1 half inch thick item that how far they open approx to hold something

Really good they are plastic but the screws are metal. They are quite tight and good size. The only thing is they won’t stay standing to use as a mini tripod for a backdrop. Not a big deal for me
