After not having a working DVD player for about 8 years and missing my favorite movies, finally decided to bite the bullet and order a new one – as it was way less expensive than fixing the old. I hooked it up yesterday and I must say I am quite impressed with it. Very lighweight and easy to handle. DVD went in smoothly and it was great to watch my favorite Simon & Garfunkel Live from Central Park concert on my new DVD player on my big screen TV. Picture quality was great. Highly recommend this product. The unit is smaller than it appears in the photo which I don’t mind as it was lightweight and therefore I was able to install it where the old one used to be within minutes.

Malheureusement, les reviews perçus avant d’acheter le produit , est à mon sens falsifié! Car, non , la qualité de l’image est assez ordinaire, pour ne pas dire pas très bonne. La télécommande est très bien conçue et facile à utiliser. La compagnie a proposé d’offrir une dividente , à ceux et celles qui marquent un bon commentaire ; je trouve que ce mode de marketing est peu fiable, et finira par une fausse représentation du produit et de la marque.

Very compact size. Fits under my TV. Very easy install. Plug in two cables, go to tv menu and once dvd player turned on it connects. As you can see from video the images are very clear and crisp. Only issue is a slight intermittent back noise. I tried several options in the sound menu, but the sound skipped. I ended up returning which was sad because it had great picture.

I took some of my old DVD out from the storage so i can play Disney movies without paying for Disney+ subscription. The DVD player works really well. There is no issue reading DVDs or VCDs from Asia or North America.
The setup is super straightforward. One cable for the power and one HDMI cable for the video/audio. Most importantly, it’s compact and doesnt waste much space.

First off, I’d like to thank the manufacturer and Amazon Prime delivery service for the safe and speedy delivery of my new Foramor DVD player. The people at Foramor clearly take great pride in their products and provide excellent customer service. It is reassuring to see a company who really does their best to develop a rapport with its customers.
Now… on to the product review:
I purchased this DVD player to replace an old AKAI DVD player whose battery conked out on me after years of rigorous use. I basically needed a replacement DVD player that would provide crisp audio and sharp audio. And I’m happy to report that Foramor’s DVD player fulfills all my needs.
The player has a very simple design. It is easy to install and use. There is even an indicator on the player that shows where in the movie you are. This is a very useful feature that my old DVD player did not have.
A note about the remote:
For someone with poor concentration, who rewinds often to catch the details in a movie, I was relieved to see that the remote was durable and that all the buttons I often use were easily accessible and conveniently laid out on the face of the remote. The most-used button (for me, personally) is the “rewind” button and it is located at the far left end of the remote, making it easily accessible just by touch. The remote and I just clicked (pun intended). I just had to put in two fresh AAA batteries, and I was watching my DVDs in no time.
Once again, thank you to Foramor for a superior product. If you are on the market for a new DVD player, I highly recommend that you give this DVD player your consideration. For the price point, you really get great value for your money.

This dvd was purchased for my mom . She really enjoys watching movies and her DVD player broke , so I searched for one that would be good for her , chose this one and we are not disappointed. Remote works seamlessly. It was super easy to set up, chose this one specifically because it had an hdmi cord so her picture quality would be best. Movies are clear !

Before I even received the unit I received an email explaining that a software update may be needed which required me to “get the software update from Foramor” and put in on a flash-drive to be plugged into the unit to update it… why don’ they send the necessary drive to update? Upon receiving the player, I opened it and plugged it in… the door continuously opened and closed on its own…. there is no customer service number to be found anywhere… cheap and no phone number for customer service…. do not bother with this player!

Makes a loud humming sound at various times during the dvd, the sound is too low for one dvd, the picture quality is really bad, dark and high contrasty. A terrible product.
AMENDMENT: the manufacturer keeps harassing me to remove my negative review and offering me money to do it. i have reported them to amazon but they continue to email me and have offered me another 5$ !! I have returned this product but i don’t know how to stop them from emailing me.

Aug 9th update: got a really nice Roxy music CD. Put it in the DVD player…load, load load… Then, nothing. Spit it back out, pretty much. It’s stopped working. Doesn’t play anything. Had one month. Can’t send it back now. 😓

Light weight player, easy to hook up. The encasement is very lightweight plastic. It is compatible with all different formats such as: Jpeg, Audio, MP3 , CD, CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, MPEG-4. It does not play blue ray. The box includes all the hook ups , HDMI cable and remote. Batteries were not included so make sure to grab 2 triple A’s. The picture quality is very good. The player itself is a little loud while it is reading the CD. My Sony DVD player does the same. The player is programed with 8 different languages. I stream a lot of shows but needed to get a dvd player for all the classics. First show I enjoyed on the player “Pink Floyd, The Wall”. Try find that streaming.

I have ordered two of these! One for myself and one for my parents. This DVD player is great. The image on this machine is nice and clear and it runs quietly, you wouldn’t even know it was on. It lights up nicely at night so you can find the buttons and comes with a cute little remote control. The company even provided the HDMI cable to hook it up. There is nothing negative I can say about this machine.

I bought this dvd player for my son’s room, as he was sick of watching the same VHS tapes and I had found several low cost DVDs that I got him for Christmas. He’s only 6, and I was really worried that he’d mess with the DVD player and break it really quickly. I had a talk with him about how important it was to not pull on the cords, touch the disks, etc… And then hoped for the best.
I am happy (and surprised) to report that this dvd player is still going strong almost 10 months later. Its never glitched, and has performed really well!
The player itself is small and lightweight, it’s easy to operate the buttons and pretty self explanatory.
The remote is kind of extensive compared to other dvd brands, but I was impressed with all it offered.
The one thing that has impressed me the most is the quality that this player offers. It makes movies look fantastic on his tiny VHS/tv combo, and does even better on my 52 inch LED/LCD flat screen. My TV is not hi-def, but this player seriously makes movies look like I have an HD screen!
Overall I am happy and would highly recommend. It’s performance surpasses other brands at this price point, and the fact that its still functioning so we’ll after constant daily use is impressive too. Very happy with my purchase!

I just love this thing. Yeah, the remote is clunky and is not exactly the most comfortable fit in a human hand, and yeah the DVD player roars and rumbles a little when initially loading but…
Look how small this is! Occasionally my wife works from home so I can’t play my DVDs downstairs. I didn’t want to haul out the JVC DVD player from the attic but I do remember it costed a fortune back in the day and was the size of a Chevrolet Impala. You cannot find a more ergonomic DVD player. It’s so small people mistake it for a cable box.
Check out the pics – this player is not much bigger than the DVD itself. I love that it remembers where you left off watching a DVD. (That could be the “progressive scan” ‘thang but don’t quote me.) I also like that it plays DVDs from any region – I can’t attest to that as I don’t have a DVD from outside of the North America region (Region 1).
You just know that a thrift store is going to charge $30.00 for a used DVD player, usually they’re missing the remote control any way, and look! This thing even comes with a 4-foot HDMI cable! (That would cost you ten bucks on Amazon alone!)
(Oh, the remote control picture on the Amazon website doesn’t look anything like the remote control you will get – it will have much fewer buttons on it making it easier to use.)
So I’m very happy with this thing and it actually WILL NOT end up being an Amazon return.
