I was 2 weeks from my due date and finally got my act together to go to Buy Buy Baby on a Monday night and order the light grey Dutailier glider that had been on my registry. I knew there would be a lead time, but 8-12 weeks seemed a bit excessive, as did their delivery fee. The only one in stock was dark grey, which was too dark for my nursery color scheme, so i sat in the chair which was on display and went on amazon.
I found this posting for the light grey version and decided to take a chance on it due to the good reviews. Total came to $150 less than what I would have paid at BBB including the 20% coupon, tax and delivery. It is now SATURDAY and we just finished assembling the glider. Yes it was delivered 4 days before the start of the committed window and it took about an hour to put together (I did all but carry it up the steps while 39 weeks preggo). There were only 8 screws and the hardest part was assemvling the reclining arms, just due to the small space you were working in.
Both my husband and I tested it out a bit and agree it is quite comfy. The color is a bit more beige/brown when you look up close so at first I was concerned, but it actually is very true to light grey from a few feet away.
The box arrived with a pretty big hole in the side, which concerned me at first since I was worried that the hardware or small parts could have fallen out the side. However, all of the small parts were bagged and taped to the chair itself. Doesn’t look like anything was missing.
All in all, very happy with the purchase, price, speed of delivery and assembly. I would recommend this chair over spending an additional $150 and waiting 8-12 weeks. If you are in the market for this item, you already have enough to worry about and have expenses out your ears! Believe this is a solid purchase!

Wow, I spent FOREVER searching Mommie Forum’s , Baby Forum’s, Pregnant Mom forum’s and the most winning New Mom Rocker chair was this one. So off I order a Grey one and it arrives Quick. But to my shock I had picked one color, the Mom another color…
Talk about GREAT Customer Support.
Ok I ordered this for a friend who sent me a link and I missed ‘Grey’ quote. I ordered a darker grey and wow did my friend not like that color (We all know Pregnant Mom’s have what they want in mind)
So hear I go better to Dutailier makers and explain my problem. The Customer Support was fantastic, we had the order reversed immediately for a new ‘Light Grey’ Rocking chair, all we had to do was put the box up front and UPS came and picked it up no charge.
I hear they absolutely love this chair… and I totally give respect the Customer Support behind this product.
1. It came quickly.
2. They shipped me another one (Lighter Grey) and it arrived in 4 days.
3. They refunded my order and had another out the door in less than 30 minutes!
That is Customer Support and a Great Chair you can believe in !

As far as I’m concerned, this is the best rocker around. I looked at other rockers from fancy big box stores (Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, etc) and kept feeling so dissatisfied because they were all so uncomfortable, not to mention super expensive. I don’t believe in paying thousands of dollars for a chair. My sister had this rocker in her nursery and I trusted her experience of the comfort and durability, and I do not regret it! It is the most comfortable rocker I have ever sat in, bar none. Yes, far more comfortable than those fancy shmancy expensive chairs. My only complaint is that the fabric on my chair is slightly less luxurious than hers is. Hers was more of a soft microfiber (came in a tan color), but the gray did not seem to come in that fabric.

You guys, 16 months in, and i am still IN LOVE with this chair and ottoman. Whenever i travel anywhere overnight with my daughter, i find myself missing our glider more than words can say. I highly recommend this purchase- I used it almost constantly when i was nursing (with a pillow under my little one), and still use it for naps and bedtime. It is amazingly comfortable (I have fallen asleep here many times), and so easy to rock. Hubby and I are looking forward to moving it to our tv room when the nursery is no longer a “nursery.”

I have had this chair for 3 years. We use it every night to rock babies to sleep or read stories. As from my pictures, you can see it is still like new. It rocks smoothly, was simple to assemble, and is very comfortable. I like that you can recline and still rock. The cushions have held up amazing. You can’t even tell it has been used. Definitely recommend. It is worth the price if you are going to be using it for many years.
