  • 【Professional LED Light Meter】: Whether you’re a photographer, a set designer, or looking to set the mood, proper lighting is a must. The Dr.meter Digital LED Light Meter measures the brightness (up to 200,000 lux) of fluorescent, metal halide, incandescent, and high-pressure sodium lights, guaranteeing the perfect luminosity every time.
  • 【Ultra Fast, Ultra Precise】: A split second is all it takes for an accurate reading. An advanced built-in calibration sensor measures the light levels at a super fast, twice per second speed.
  • 【Easy and Intuitive】: Using this digital LED light meter couldn’t be easier. Just turn it on, point it at the light source, and check out the reading on the display screen. There are 4 adjustable measuring ranges (200lux, 2,000lux, 20,000lux, 200,000lux). Preprogrammed settings like auto power off, data hold, unit adjustment, and more do the hard work for you.
  • 【270 Degree Rotatable Detector】: Keep an eye on the light level anywhere in the room. The optical detector rotates a full 270 degree for muti-directional detection.
  • 【Tripod Mountable】: Have your hands full? Don’t sweat it. Thanks to the screw base design, this photography light meter can be placed on a tripod for hands-free use.

I’m glad I bought this.. way better than not measuring, and much better than a lux phone app. Light burn can be tricky to diagnose.. Know the lux range for your plant’s stage in life, and dial in light intensity & distance like a pro with this. Happy plants are good.. 🙂

Seems kinda strange to use a lux meter for full spectrum lighting LEDs, but it is relatively accurate within the visible spectrum. Much better than cell phone apps. And I’m sure you noticed the appropriate PAR meters for full spectrum readings are $250 to $500. This is a cheaper alternative if your on a budget! I bought this because I can use a ballpark estimate of lux readings to determine placement of my LED light in a grow room.

Not accurate. I should have returned it. My cell phone is mire accurate than this.

Since Covid I have bought WAY TOO MANY house plants with very little knowledge to back them up. After some reading of blogs and a few books I decided to invest in light meter to best place my plants based on their recommended footcandle placement for growth. I was amazed at what a difference what a few feet from a window makes in terms of total foot candles and this device helped me place plants and ensure their light needs throughout the day. It also worked with my grow lights, which is super handy.
    Plant parent must!

I purchased this LED light meter with the understanding that it was specifically for measuring light from LED lights (as the name implies). However, after looking further, I see that it is actually for “ fluorescent, metal halide, incandescent, and high-pressure sodium lights.” It was calibrates against an incandescent light and is not color corrected for LED lights.
I specifically wanted a light meter calibrated to LED lights, and am incredibly frustrated that all of this time I have been using your meter, it is not the meter I thought it was. You name “LED light meter” is incredibly misleading.

I bought the light meter to measure the amount of foot candles of light my orchids were getting under my new LED lights. The measurement was very inaccurate. I think I’d be better off with a PAR meter.

It took me a while to figure out but I figured it out with a bit of research for the purpose I’m using it for. It works well. The user manual was not informative at all besides how to turn it on and change settings. More information about the settings would of been helpful. As for that once I learned more about the product and uncomplicated things for myself I found it easy to use. I over thought it and made things more complicated for myself. But once I got it I can say this is a good product for the value. I used it to measure my grow lights, light intensity which helped to figure out the hanging distance of my light. Thank you for a good product that made life easier. Please keep in mind this is my first time using this equipment I am a newbie to this, but with some research online which took all of 5 to 10 minutes I was good to go. I do recommend this product. Great price and works great.

Pretty good value for what it does, I just got into hydroponics and thought this is a must have for my light heights.

Accuracy is there, You have to read up on it abit to understand it and changing the settings to read Lux but its really nice to have.

This led light meter has been working flawlessly for about a year now. I’ve tested many different spectrum led lights as well as hps,cmh,t5’s and this gives me accurate reading. I use the 10x lux and 100x lux for stronger light readings. This is a good way to test light manufacturer specs and get the right hanging hight above canopy. I used a phantom photobio PAR meter to make my own PAR conversion chart because I couldn’t find one that seemed very accurate and now I can have a lux/PAR meter that can measure up to 2,000 PAR accurately within +/- 50 par for under $40. I hope this helps save someone some time and money getting ready for planting season this year. Stay safe and happy harvest.

Accuracy is 5/5 as it will give you an accurate reading from all angles and plus you can move the ball around to get in hard to reach areas

Easy to use 5/5 as it took me afew mins to understand how to use this thing without reading any instructions what so ever!

Value 5/5 for what this thing does it is totally worth the money atm the problem is I don’t need to use it often so I don’t know the durability of this device as of yet but will update if something big happens.

Overall great device for what it is and good bang for your buck but some parts of it seem kinda cheap but honestly I am very happy with what I paid for it!

Works well. Use the 10000 lumens setting and times it by .015 to get a ballpark of Par at whatever height for daylight type grow lights like LEDs.

Seems accurate I don’t have one to compare to but im getting readings that the manufactuere said my lights should give. Worked for my quantum board led grow lights to position plants optimally.
