Disney Minnie Mouse Fleece Hooded Legging Set

I don’t know whether to review this outfit as too big or too small because….just ugh. This is the wonkiest outfit I’ve ever purchased. Purchased the 4T. For my niece. The top was very cute and seemed like decent quality, but it was super tiny and not true to what a regular 4T should be. It would have been really tight on any kid who wears that size. The pants were ridiculous. The waist/seat of the pants seemed like it would have been the right size, but the legs were insanely long, almost twice as long as normal pants would be. They looked like pants for a giraffe. It was hysterical. Only some sort of mutant toddler would be able to wear it. If you see a baby giraffe running through the savannah with Minnie Mouse pants on, you know where they got them.

Very cute and adorable. Unfortunately it fits small. Ordered size 5 for my 4 year old daughter (which size 5 fits her a bit to big) and she will not be able to wear for long. She still loves it.

Both pieces came together and prints are definitely cute, but the printing of minnie’s face on the shirt does give it away that a cheaper material is used. Not sure how long it will last but tights are great!

Firstly, I bought this for a petite, 3.5 y/o girl in a toddler girls’ size 4T. Compared to other size 4T clothing, this set ran a slight bit large but it seems pretty darn close to average for the industry.
This set is okay but definitely not worth $19.99 … the lack of quality (in so many areas) meets a $12.99 price-point, at best. If it wasn’t for the darling print on the pants, the cute, sparkly Minnie Mouse image on the hoodie, and the delight in my granddaughter’s face, I would have given this set 1-to-2 stars … here’s why:

The Hoodie:
It’s a bit short from shoulder to waist-line, and it’s extra wide (armpit-to-armpit) so, it doesn’t truly fit right but it will do for play clothes. Next, the hoodie is polyester, and we all know how that washes & wears … stains easily and unsightly pilling!

The Pants:
They’re more of a “leggins” style of pants, and the lower legs were sewn too skinny. The pants’ waist is disproportionate to the legs of the pants … from crotch to top of waist-band, the pants are very long, and they are wide, meaning the girth of the waist is very roomy, yet, the legs are excessively snug. The lower portion of the legs is so snug that I had to tug & pull to get my granddaughter’s toddlers’ size 6 feet through the pants; if she was a chubby girl, the pants would not work for her (except in the extra roomy waist). My granddaughter is a tiny girl and very slim.
What I do like about the pants is that they are a stretch-knit cotton, and the fabric is a heavier weight than most t-shirts so, they’re a 3 seasons pants (a bit cold for our winters). Since cotton stretches while being worn and shrinks back to shape when laundered, these pants should retain a consistent fit during their time in my granddaughter’s wardrobe.
