Keep in mind you have to be able to actually lift 50 pounds and hold it steady if you plan on using this product. My wife could not do this for example, because you have to keep the bag steady and level, to get a good reading. I can do this, so it’s great. The usual method was standing on a scale and subtracting my weight, which is a pain in the ass. The really good thing about this, is that you take one of these on your trip, because usually when you are coming back from wherever you are going, you don’t have access to scales in your hotel room or whatever.

It is good for travelling. The battery last awhile. I question the accuracy, as i measured some free weights at home and the numbers on the free weight wont jib with the display reading. And i know the difference between metric & imperial measurements ….

LOVE LOVE this kit! We are those people that love to max out our check in bags especially after shopping. This is a great tool to take with you on vacay to ensure you won’t get charged extra if you’re bag is overweight. Leave one at home and take one when you travel!

Bought the pack of two – just in case.
Tried them both on dumbbells that were 20lb and 30lb. Both had a +/- 1lb in accuracy. That is, both of the scales would sometimes show 19 or 21, or 29 or 31 (and numbers between). Of course, yours may/will differ – so you will have to check them yourself.
Basically good for approximating things, or for things that you don’t care about accuracy too much.
Don’t be selling apples with these, they might rip you off.

I ordered 2, one for me and one for my sister. Both of them were delivered on time.One of them was showing an error sign but they were kind enough to reply and send a replacement for that.
It is very accurate in reading luggage weights. We weighted the bag at 26kg and it was the same at the airport. Lift the bag up steadily and make sure ur not touching the bag or hook to get accurate results. Its better to leave room for a 1kg error just incase.

This digital luggage scale is a good quality and feel robust. I have used to scale six baggage and it was accurate because I got almost the same reading in the airport weight scale. For now, I can say only positively about this product.

Bought this literally so I could weigh my newborn baby during COVID-19 pandemic for tele-medicine appointments – needed a unit that was surely rugged at 4x safety factor and won’t self destruct like the competition. Unit is rugged, simple on/off operation, easily survives to rated capacity (pull tested), nice green backlight (easily read in all lighting conditions), reads to precision of 10g (0.01 kg). During a manual one handed pull test, maximum observed readout was 51.00 kg then it went “Err” due to max. Additionally during the test, scale felt very firm, with no appreciable flexing, creaking, or plastic shell deformation (important as shell destruction often leads to user injury). Downside: Not approved for Canadian military sandbag calibration procedure. This unit easily surpasses the junk competition (H*a*y*e*s) scales which I have had the misfortune of self-destructing at the 35 kg mark when conducting sandbag drag set calibration.
The Road Warrior –
These scales are an absolute must when packing for travel. They are small, lightweight, and both of the ones I received were accurate to within 100 grams – well withing airline tolerances. The only issue is in weighing heavy bags – if your arm shakes, it will take a while to settle down the scale and give a final reading. Using 2 hands helps.
