I was a little skeptical when I ordered this because comparable thickness futon mattresses were ranging about $400.
This arrived earlier than expected and was so thick and plush! My son loves it, definitely happy with the product and a bargain price!

I thought 8inch thick would be very comfortable, but NO. Ok for kids to sit on but way to thin to sleep on. Quickly gets stuffing separation when folded into couch position so when you lay on it you sink into center. Plus you feel futon bars below through it.
Nice fabric, soft.

I am very surprise by the high quality of this mattress. I bought it to replace my “old“ one (a real joke, just a year of use and as flat as a sheet of paper, and I paid more than twice the price of this one). I highly recommand it. The dark blue fits with almost anything, and even my 290 lbs brother-in-law slept well on it. And for the price, it worth it!

Really thought it was a foam or padding type mattress. It is not it’s that new batting material that’s not strong or comfortable. Was disappointed. Looks nice

A good basic futon mattress. As of this review, the price was 145 dollars. I think that price is a little much. I got it for a clearence sale for half which is well worth it.
Great for sitting and reading bedtime stories together with my 6 year old. Definitely get the 8 inch mattress as it does smush down over time and usage. Would not use for an adult but good for kids and teens.

with the frame that goes with the futon you can feel the struts right through like the princess and the pea. Put another mat like a thick exercise mat under it and it is ok. not great but ok. Having had an original cotton futon on the frame i can tell you i had to put a layer under it as well. so essentially it is the frame that is problematic. maybe a board on the frame would solve the problem. in and of itself the futon is light weight and easy to move, but isn’t going to have a long shelf life.

Delivery was very quick, less than a week. It feels very comfy and not heavy like some other mattresses. We needed a new one for our futon in our groom shop for dogs to lounge out on. This will do the job pawsomely, so they can chill after a grooming session. Just to ensure it doesnt get ruined, we have covered it in a tarp and will cover that over with a sheet.

Although it looks quite nice. It feels quite comfy to the touch when you unroll it. When I first sat on it I felt like I had sat on a plank. Works but not at all soft in any way. Needs more memory foam I guess. Sure could use more

Good quality. Sturdy enough to sit on for short periods of time. Definitely not designed for sleeping on. The buttons that create the tufts are hard and bulky. You can feel them through the two mattress pads we used. We bought this for our college aged daughter to use in her apartment as a bed but I wish I had just purchased a real mattress instead! If just for sitting, it’s a great deal. But if you plan on sleeping on it, I suggest you get a better quality mattress! Once it’s fully expanded, it still comes short of the 8″ it claims to be! It’s more like 6!

Mattress arrived quickly. No smell. It is decently comfortable but regular use will definitely cause the filling to flatten (i.e. and become more uncomfortable. I would recommend flipping the mattress regularly. I did not like the material, it would be great for a home with young children as the fabric is wipeable but it’s kind of tacky and makes the mattress feel cheaper. It would also be difficult to remove the cover to wash it as the inner filling is not contained. I ended up buying a futon cover for this mattress. Overall, this purchase worked for us because we are students and found a free futon frame. I would not purchase this futon mattress as an addition to a more permanent living space.

Not 8″ and very lumpy. I order one 8″ mattress. It is really 2 weird looking mattresses put in one sack. I’m not even sure what kind of material the mattresses are. One of the mattress is 4″ and the second one is 2″. The slide away from each other when the futon is in the upright position. Laying and sitting on it is uncomfortable. The fabric is thin and we’ll tear easily within a short time. There are also plastic toggles throughout the mattress which you could feel when you sit or laying on it. This is not what I ordered. I would like my money back.
