These are nice looking school shoes/dress shoes and my son has no complaints about their comfort. My issue is that with less than 1 month of normal wear – at only 2 days per week max, the seam around the ‘tongue’ on one of the shoes is completely coming apart. I ordered these shoes on Friday, August 26. They arrived in the afternoon on Tues, August 30. The first time my son even wore them was more than a full week later to mass (Catholic school) on 9/9. Since then he’s wore them maybe 2 times per week. When he got home from school on Friday, 9/30 the thread that was a little frayed had completely given and the top of the shoe (the tongue part) was no longer attached and just flopping around.
I am tremendously disappointed in these shoes and even more disappointed that the blow-out happened 1 day after this purchase was eligible for returns.

My 4-year-old wanted shoes “like Daddy” for church and times that he dresses up a bit. Style-wise, these fit the bill;. However, I have been completely disappointed in the quality. He wears them about once a week, mainly to attend church and Sunday school. However, apparently these shoes cannot stand up to the occasional stumble or bump, as in three months they have both had the finish rubbed off the toes of the shoes. They also have developed unattractive creases where the shoe flexes on the foot. Every other pair of shoes that we’ve bought for this purpose have been “retired” in great condition because my son outgrew them–this will be the first that didn’t even last a season. I appreciate that they’re affordable, but I’d rather spend more and not have to buy a second pair of shoes after a month.

My son is very picky when it comes to shoes. They have to be comfortable, and wide enough to get his normal width foot into without squeezing it! They also need to be durable as they are sometimes wore outside to play if he forgets his sneakers to change into. These shoes pass his comfort needs, and are very durable! They are the only dress shoes we’ve ever found that a win all the way around… BUY THEM 🙂

Bought these for my son as his best man shoes at my wedding this past spring and they are wonderful. the material on the bottom of the shoe hasn’t left a scuff on any of my floors and has a nice cushion that seems to make the shoe very comfortable to walk in. has a tiny bit of a heel cushion. the material on the top is a gorgeous rich brown color, I paired it with navy pants and a light blue gingham top and tan vest and he looked absolutely sharp. the color of the shoes has some variation like a natural leather would and i love that the stitching is a lighter color so it stands out from the color of the brown. they are very easy to get on with his dress socks and i love the small areas of elastic on either side of the tongue. the back of the foot opening also has a little bit of padding so he said he said he could run all day in them without his feet hurting. the toe is also a rounded square shape with is very modern and sleek, i love this. very much a timeless style even though he will grow out of them soon. love these and will buy this brand again for him.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I’ve bought for my son, who just finished 1st grade. I bought the first pair 18 months ago, and only replaced them because he outgrew his old pair. They held up GREAT, and while they certainly showed signs of wear, they are far from worn out. My son loves them, and wears them to school (and prefers them to sneakers), church, and the playground if we let him! The new ones feel a little stiff right now, but based on how soft and comfy the old ones were, I’m not worried at all!
