Wow what a device really impressed and worth the money. I was sceptical about the price but the features and the app is really good. Connecting to the Deeper is really easy. SWITCH OFF YOUR DATA ON YOUR PHONE!! or else it will not connect.
It connects at a good distance and i went fishing for about 3 hrs and it was great. What i liked about this deeper is the clarity, it shows the the depth, water temp, sea bed layout and size of fish and fish depth. The bigger the fish icon the bigger the fish. I was trawling for a bit and it worked there to. It also has a playback mode which are shown in the photos. It has three outer holes to clip to casting, boat and fishing off a jetty or harbour dock. Charging is easy unscrew the one half and then theirs a rubber flap lift that and that is your charge port. That’s about it looking forward to my next fishing trip next week. Oh there are 2 apps the Deeper and the Fish Deeper. I used the Deeper mostly the Fish Deeper is the latest one will try that next.

I was a little sceptical in terms of locating the fish and ease of use. It is actually easy to use and very effective I would not go fishing without it. The ping of when fish are detected gets the pulse soaring and is really great for understanding depth and characteristics of the sea bed. Love it!

Makes finding features a whole lot easier and more accurate as to what is actually happening below the surface. Detects fish presents, their depth and can even help if you are zig fishing with excact depth shown… brilliant 😊😊

I ordered this as an easy way to get depth finding on my kayak and not so much for land fishing.
I had problems connecting. Also, the app was a little buggy and wasn’t saving my scans on the global map. It’s battery drained pretty fast and the image was average at best.
I bought the clamp but couldn’t get it to work on my fishing kayak. Too thick. You need a pretty heavy rod to launch it and the data you get is only helpful the first time.
Save your money. Buy a battery box from yak attack and do it right. This thing is overpriced and drains your phone fast. Also, on a sunny day my phone overheated a bunch!!! So it became useless.

Absolutely awesome. I had a few concerns about this product, but all of them have been removed. I absolutely love this little device. A few of my concerns were 1. How powerful would it be in deep water to monitor jigging. Well, it performed just as well as any other fish finder I’ve used over the past 30 years. I have a Helix 5 ice fish finder and this works just a good for jig tracking and seeing the fish move towards your lure even in very deep water (100+ ft.). 2. The battery life. It definitely lasts for 6 hours, and hopefully it maintains that life over time. One thing I must say, if you plan to be out away from charging devices, you might want to buy a portable USB battery bank to be able to charge your phone, that’s right, your phone. the app and wi-fi drained my phone in about 3 hours of use. Some might give negative for this, but seriously, this is to be expected. I have purchased a 30000 mah battery bank to take out on the ice with me, and I’ll bring a spare charged battery for my phone, this will be more than enough to keep me going all day. If I fish all day, I’ll probably have to charge the Deeper for 40 minutes or so. 3. My final concern was response time. The display is definitely real time. There is no more lag than any other fish finder, and the ping sounder on the right of the display lets you know if a fish has moved in our out instantly. I can’t wait to use this on some of the trout rivers I fish in the spring, it should give me a great advantage to know some of the structure and where the fish are holding before I throw in my line. The one thing I think that they could do to improve this unit is make the battery accessible and replaceable so you can head out with a spare charged battery or two to keep you going all day. Thanks for the great product.

Bought this device for the ice-fishing couple weeks ago and I was quite impressed by its main features. It is powerful, light and hassle free. Before purchase read some reviews that phone battery won’t last long during winter so I simply tried to keep it warm and bought a winter case cover (around 25$) – I think this as well is being produced by deeper.
Really excited for the open water season, should be a great tool for it.

Such a great aid in my fishing, I fish a very deep quarry with the difference in 6ft to the left or right meaning a difference in depth of 10 to 20 ft! So the contour and depth finding features are invaluable.
