These are very nicely made pajamas. Well made, with attractive piping. The material is incredibly soft, yet not clingy. And although the weave seems fairly tight they breathe well. You won’t wake up sweating in the middle of the night.

One caveat is that the fit seems pretty large. I fall in between large and medium on the size chart – 5’9”, 168”, 41c/36w. I have another pair from a good maker in size large that fits well. The Archys are about 2” long in the wrist, bottoms and top. This really doesn’t matter for bed wear, but if you’re on the cusp between two sizes and you plan to lounge around in the house (for which purpose they are admirably suited) or receive foreign dignitaries in your bed chamber you may want to pick the smaller size.

    Update: January 21, 2019

I washed and dried these according to directions. They shrank a little in all dimensions including a bit more than an inch in the arms and legs. They now fit exactly as I would expect a size large to fit. This may be why the manufacturer cuts them a little long. I really like these pajamas.

I was sceptical about buying pj’s online, so did my usual review reading and found these. I now have them on and I couldn’t be happier with the fit and comfort.
I’m 5’ 7”, go between a small or a medium, depending on article of clothing, and
I always have to hem pants unless I want to constantly trip over the ridiculous length, and roll my sleeves in order to use my hands, but not with these. The length of the pants are perfect, as is the sleeve length.
Did I mention how soft and comfortable they are?? I bought four pairs.

I paid full price for this product and I am not being compensated to write this review.

By far the best pjs I’ve ever owed.

I typically get pyjama bottoms for Christmas and rock the undershirt I’ve had on all day. First time I’ve done the full kit.

I’m 6’2″ 230lbs and my wife says they fit me perfectly in length as most other XL seem to he set for a flood.

Putting a few other colours on my list to Santa this year.

These are exactly what I was hoping for. The fabric is thin and breathable, so it’s light enough that I don’t get too hot in long sleeves, but it keeps me nice and cozy when it’s a little on the cool side. They’re quite soft, which is a must for a piece of clothing that I’ll want to be able to wear as I lounge around at home.
They look fantastic. To paraphrase my girlfriend, “those are some classy pajamas!”

I ordered medium size, as I’m 5’5” and 160 lb. The package says pre-shrunk, but I washed the pj’s in warm water and dryer at low heat. Sleeves and legs shrank an inch but that was perfect for me. Well constructed, quality material. I only use a light blanket otherwise I find them too warm, but I’m very intolerant of being hot. These are perfect for lounging around the house and more practical than lounging around in a robe. Elastic waistband is comfortable, and pockets hold a cellphone. Buttons sewn on well. Overall a quality garment and was good value at 56 dollars Canadian.

The pajamas look good but it is very large. I am 5′ 8″ and weigh about 166lbs. The sleeves of the top extended about 6″ beyond my hands. The pants were about 8″ longer than my feet. I understand that these are cotton pants and that cotton shrinks but I would have to wash this many times to fit the lengths. In any case, the amount of shrinkage would make the breadth of the pajamas to be too small. Made in China, suggest you pick something else.

After buying too many Chinese sized clothes that fit too small, I ordered these in Large, in two colours. Well, they’re too large, but I’m keeping them. They are beautiful, stylish, a little formal, and very comfortable. The cotton is smooth and substantial without being too heavy. The colours are really dark, and the white piping at the cuffs is perfect. The stitching seems excellent, and the buttons are very nice.
Update: after a cold wash, they shrunk perfectly, and got just a little fuzzy. I’m very pleased.

I have now purchased two pairs of David Archy’s pajamas, one in black, and the other in grey. They are a high quality product. The fabric is really good and the fit and comfort is excellent. Prior to this I was using PJ’s from Sears, but the quality of the fabric is in no way in the same league as the David Archy’s. I can recommend this product without reservation.

Wow. I have worn Pajamas for a few years now. 55-ish Stocky build not tall. I find that old school pajamas that are mediums fit well, New Pajamas are always too large and too long. I bought 3 pairs of unopened Botany 500 PJ’s in Medium from the 70’s at an Estate Sale about 5 years ago, and liked them so much I have not stopped wearing them. They fit perfectly. They have proper collars and cuffs and pockets.. 100% cotton.. Just great stuff. But after 5 or 6 years, they are finally ready to be retired.

THESE… are the most pleasing fabric I have every felt.. Fantastic. and they wear/drape in a pleasing way that makes you NOT feel like a slob wearing them.
The shirt fit great albeit the sleeves are a tad long. The pants are also a tad long. Being that they have accent piping that makes them look classy and finished I didn’t want to alter them. However my lovely Wife says she can fold the bottoms over and retain the piping and the 1 inch of length will work fine to keep these from getting torn up from walking around. She’ll do the same on the sleeves if I am nice to her.
I bought 3 other PJ’s each a different brand with 4 stars all around $24.00 or so here on Amazon.. I ordered each in 2 sizes hoping to find some that fit and felt good. I returned them all. Baggy and sloppy design, hanging threads… WAYY too large. Even the mediums…

These are the best pajamas ever. Right up there with my old Botany 500’s (You will be missed..) Buy them and dont waste your time on the others…

So re-reviewing after 2 months and have decided to downgrade from original 2 stars to current 1 star. This is nothing more than a sham product. Literally flea market grade product. Nice pics but cheap material, cheap construction. Yes I understand this isn’t a Sleepy Jones competitor which runs about $250 with proper shirting material, real piping, and French seams. But it still costs close to $60 which I consider to be overpriced by $35. This is not fully cotton as it is elasticky and in my experience these types of fabrics do not breathe well, and it doesn’t. Save your money and get proper jammies.

Bought a L set for myself and one for a gift. They had a nice look and feel right out of the package, but were oversized (expected, per description) so I washed in cold and dried on low for a short time. The pant and sleeve length shrunk up about 3 inches…making the set comically short. Also, the cuffs on the pants have decorative trim which did not shrink as much as the pants themselves so it has this strange ruffled or warped look. Returning the unopened gift and using this set for cleaning rags. Too bad – love their other products that I’ve purchased previously.

Bought my 93 year old dad two pairs of these after he told me he hated the ones I bought him at Old Navy! These type of pj’s are not easy to find anymore and I worried he’d have to manage with the others. His biggest issue was wanting a functional fly….. these have that and he is thrilled with them. Being a women I do not quite get the thrill of a practical fly, but whatever, the old fella is happy!!

Cotton is a traditional agricultural product with definable properties. Clothing made out of 100% cotton is not stretchy and rubbery. Cotton pajamas breathe and keep you warm in cooler temperatures but do not heat up like an oven when you get in bed. The label on these David Archy pajamas says 100% cotton. Are there countries that have little regulation on manufacturers where they might make clothing out of cheaper petroleum based fabrics like polyester and yet label them as anything that the seller requests? Maybe. I contacted David Archy and they told me to “take a picture”. Who am I, Diane Arbus? Here’s your picture. It’s kind of a word picture. Okay?
