These are wonderful! We are in south Louisiana — damp anyway, but we have (as many folks have) been flooding. These work. Hang them up & let them do their job. The moisture is contained in a little plastic bag at the bottom: The crystals & the bag are perfectly coordinated, so there is no worry (we have found) about the water running over the top of the plastic bag. So, there’s no mess at all with these. It’s easy to see what’s happening — handy & simple to use. Highly recommend!

I have used this product for a few years and continue to buy refills. Great value for the money and a pleasant scent so the musty smell is eliminated. Protects clothes and storage areas, especially in the basement where they are most needed. They last for months. A very convenient way to keep the basement fresh.

Not sure how well they will absorb moisture as I had to remove them from my house due to the smell! I thought it smelt bad, but my poor husband is sensitive to smells, opened the closet, got an instant head ache, got dizzy a few minutes later and started vomiting! I’m sure some people that enjoy very flower perfume smells will like these, but please is you are at all sensitive to smells, get unscented! I have used other Damprid products, but have unsented and they work great, I really dont know what I was thinking.

Viens d’en acheter un autre ,pas utiliser encore . Il y a 3 ans j’ en ai acheter un au USA j ai aimer bcp mais celui là a noirci avec le temps et a durer moins longtemps peut etre parce que je l ai laisser là l hiver au froid. Mais je vais en racheter car ça enlève l humilité bcp ds la ch de bain et ds le garde robe du VR lorsqu ont se rend ds les pays chaud et qu’ont parts du froid en hiver.

Excellent product yet I wish I bought the fragrance free instead. Any product which has an added fragrance, is chemical. I would buy this product again just the fragrance free one. It really works very well.

We have a small house, and old windows. I put one in every room with sliding doors and after a few weeks the bag was full of water. Leaves rooms smelling clean, and I no longer have condensation on the inside of our windows all day. I’ll be back next winter to buy more!

I went against the suggestion and placed one in the bedroom [on the door knob to the walk in closet]. Not a huge room [and walk in closet] but it has trapped quite a bit of moisture. I was getting over 60% at one point – which is not good – but brought it down to the low 40% or below which is quite good.
If there is a scent I barely notice it and I have a good smelling nose.
Price seems a bit high though.

I have been using these in my basement for the past 2 years. I am amazed at how well they work. I do not have a very damp basement, but it’s still a concrete basement and can get that basementy smell. No More Smell – they last longer than 60 days, I hang 3 at a time and replace when the water bag is full. I do this all year round and it saves $$ from leaving a dehumidifier running all year. Buying on amazon is a good $$ saver too.

I have been purchasing these for years and loving them. However, we purchased a camper and the first time we took our camper out, I went in the trailer after a 2 hour drive and I had one hanging over the master bed and it had leaked all over my new comforter/sheets/pillow and mattress. The substance was very greasy and couldn’t be washed off until after our 5 day camping trip. It was all over everything. I couldn’t even use my new expensive pillow because the scent was so strong.

I have purchased these before to capture moisture but this is the first time I have gotten the ones with scent. First off these are great in Closets, bathrooms, garages, sheds or even in your car. These comes in different forms and they also sell them in a jug wear you can pour out the moisture it collects. I like these since when they are full, you just toss them in the trash but I prefer to wrap them in a couple of grocery bags just in case. Now for the smell / scent depending on how you look at it. I bought these because my garage where I do the laundry gets a lot of moisture and smells so this will act as a double whammy to knock out excessive dampness and mask some of the musky smell from the clothes washer.

I hung this in my storage locker and checked back in 2 weeks. There was quite a bit of water in the bottom of the bag and the scent from the product is not strong at all. Will probably have to replace that bag in a couple more weeks. So far, so good!
