I actually bought this as a warehouse deal like-new and could not tell that it was used at all. That was a big relief. I love the calming blue light and the ease of use by just pushing down the one button. The stainless steel filter is much better than my previous mesh one and I feel like it will be much more durable. There was no issue with the auto-shutoff and pouring does not leak everywhere. Very satisfied! I have not tried to clean it yet but I do not think it will be too difficult.

This kettle is appealing to look at and I enjoy that it is glass and not plastic. That being said, the maximum fill level is about 50-60% and it’s very large for something that only boils 1.7L. I was guessing that was so they could have a larger heating element on the bottom and boil faster, but it’s very bulky (takes up twice the space that my last kettle did). They need to make a smaller or taller model.

I absolutely LOVE this kettle!
However, my ONLY gripe with it though is that when I pour my water out, I usually prefer to pop the lid open so I don’t have to pour through the built-in strainer. But with this particular kettle…on a few rare occasions the water vapour that collects on the inside of the lid will drip down when it’s open and land on my hand holding the handle. This is a minor issue for me, as I just make sure to protect my hand with a towel now–but I do feel that it may be important for others to note as a safety precaution.

Bought kettle to replace 12 year old Black And Decker Stainless steel kettle, based on the positive reviews. This Cosori kettle stopped working properly after 7 months. Kettle turns itself on and off perpetually, before reaching a full boil. Will need to buy a new Stainless Steel kettle.
