I previously used cherry MX Red switches on my cooler master Pro L white LEDs for the past 7 years. It’s still doing good. Wanted to try these. So here are some things I observed
1. Click actuation is so short, might get time to get used up.
2. In game it felt super easy to click. So for gaming is worth, not much for typing
3. Build quality is next level. There’s no compromise on that.
4. Is you’re into streaming, streamdeck can be integrated into the kb.
5. For me personally I felt my hands are locked when using the hand rest. So I removed. I’ve never used them before as well, May be cuz f that I might’ve felt that.
6. If you’ve bucks, blindly go for it

This the best keyboard I have ever used. Performance is crazy and the sound it produces, it just wow. RGB lighting is top notch. With Corsair icue the customisation it provides are unmatched!
Best of all, the build quality of this keyboard is freaking awesome. It just feels so damn premium the moment you unbox it.
Only drawback is keys are little small but once you get start using it then it won’t be problem at all. The responsiveness and the things you can do with this keyboard through icue makes it totally worth it.
If you are into programming/ gaming etc this keyboard is worth it.

This is one slick mechanical gaming keyboard. I own a few different keyboards, a TKL Razer Blackwidow, a full size K95 RGB and this new K100 optical; this is my favourite keyboard to use. They are all great keyboards but the accuracy, speed and smoothness from these new optical mechanical keys are just so nice to use. My K95 has Cherry Speed keys which are similar but not as smooth. I highly recommend typing on one before you buy one, since the keys are very fast activating, requiring a very light keypress. It’s not the best keyboard for typing for this reason as it’s easy to brush another key, but this keyboard is designed for gaming and it is amazing for this task. I notice that I can be faster with less effort using this keyboard, it just makes gaming sharper. Besides the amazing optical mechanical keys, the rest of the keyboard is what you would expect from a high-end keyboard. Modern, very well built, comfortable and with very easy to use software. You can store your profiles on-board so you can just load up your profiles right away if you travel with your keyboard to events, etc…no need to install from the PC. It all just works really well and I highly recommend having a look at this keyboard. I compared it to over 10 others and this ticked all the boxes. I’ll say again, try it first. It’s a very sensitive keypress and it’s gaming focused so it can be touchy when typing essays or emails, for example. I like it for typing also, but I can see why some people don’t. Overall, this is the best full size gaming keyboard I have used!!

If you like missing your escape key every time, this keyboard is for you!!! You’ll hit G1 over, and over, and over, and over…
Every key that has stabs, actually sounds pretty nice. But all letters sound pretty ticky.. kinda cheap ticky.. if they sounded more like Razers optical switches on the Tartarus it would’ve been much better IMO.
The keys are fast, like, really fast. I’m an optical fanboy, what can I say.. they live up to my desires.
ICUE is absolutely a pain.. BUT.. it gets the job done.
This keyboard is really nice, and if they G keys on the left were shifted down more so that you didn’t always click it meaning to click escape, as well as the keys not being as ticky, it would be a near perfect keyboard IMO.

My keyboard came with the factory seal sticker cut open, and the keyboard was covered in dust and hairs. Boy am I disappointed! When you pay $300 for a NEW premium keyboard, you expect it to be NOT OPENED and DIRTY! Was this an open box return?!? WHO OPENED MY KEYBOARD!!!!! Someone did, someone got their grubby hands on my keyboard when there is not supposed to be an OPEN package. How do I know if it’s even not broken because someone opened it? I don’t want to chance it. I’m returning this and getting a new one. I will change my review if I get a new CLEAN KEYBOARD WITH A FACTORY SEALED STICKER!!! Who knows who messed with my keyboard.
I will gladly change my review when I get a nice factory sealed CLEAN keyboard!!!!

If you plan on using this keyboard for anything other than gaming, look elsewhere. They layout of the keyboard and the sensitivity of the keys means you will spend more time correcting mistakes than doing anything else. These keys will register if you breathe on them. The keys are also much too tall, but I guess that’s just gaming keyboards in general. Also note that Amazon ships this without an outer box.

So I do a fair bit of gaming, but I do a lot of typing too. This keyboard took a little bit to get used to as it is definitely more sensitive. I have found occasionally I will rest my fingers too hard on a key and it’ll start spamming that into whatever window I am in, but it is not nearly as bad as other reviews make it out to be. Give it a week or so of practice (I found the key spacing a little different so it took more time to get used to that than the sensitivity) and you’ll fly through your typing challenges with ease. Definitely recommend if your looking for a solid keyboard that looks good, has a TON of features and customizability and will (hopefully) last a long time.

The keycaps are heavier but they are still very responsive. Cherry MX Speve on the K95 was a lil tooo delicate but after time you get used to it. But this keyboard is on another level. Only complaint is that the replacement keycaps are lighter and thinner than the default keys instead of being rugged and different feeling (Cherry MX speve K100 here) but as it is the keyboard is more than enough without those lighter keys. Amazing to type on. Like an old school keyboard BUT the 4000mhz polling rate IS GAME CHANGING WITH UNCAPPED FPS. It is so smooth I can’t even say how fast and responsive it is but I’d never have the same ability with a controller. Sometimes you will be typing and you’ll be slamming through sentences faster than you can think about typing them so you gotta slooooow downn.
Oh and the sound of the keyboard is miles quieter than the K95 so that’s a bonus. The lighting effects all around the keyboard are amazing too! Just make sure to get iCUE V4 (V3 is not as refined in my testing and once I got the new update iCUE was much quicker to open and change settings so please do that before you say the software sucks trust me my K95 with iCUE V3 was a pain lol)

The keyboard is excellent, it’s not too loud while giving you that nice mechanical feel and sound. It has some really nice features that I wasn’t sure about when I first got it such as the dial in the top left. Keys are very accurate and activate about halfway down if you press lightly (I might be a bit off there but you don’t need to press it the full way in which is good for high octane moments).
My main downside which is not to the keyboard itself but is towards the Corsair iCue program is that you can’t activate multiple Macros at once, you can’t figure out where your mouse is on the screen to use the mouse moving feature and lastly, the quick macro feature doesn’t allow clicks or mouse movements to be recorded.
