review: Command Floating Shelf, 21″ Wall Ledge with 10 Command Strips
I bought THREE of these
1. follow instructions. MAKE SURE you give it a day to fully cure onto wall. let the adhesives settled. when you first apply the product, PRESS hard onto wall for 60seconds. Then do NOT put anything on the shelf for 24hours. Don’t take short cuts here. Failure to do this will result in a crash and burn of your picture frames on top (and possibly glass shattering
2. this product comes with 10 strips –> likely because so many people fail to follow instructions the first time and the shelf drops. if you follow the instructions you will have an extra set of strips to use if you change your mind on the install — you need 5 strips for an install.
3. WEIGH YOUR frames. do not exceed the weight allowance- — it will drop otherwise (not immediately but eventually.
4. The shelf is plastic. handle with care. It’s easily stained because of the matte finish.
5. If you buy amazon-warehouse discounted shelf (used or open box) it will be a hit and miss. People tried to use it and repackaged it and it gets shipped to you . It isnt clean or it might come slightly dented. just make sure you know that this product is easily damaged (plastics are easily dentable), and easily stained with dirty fingers. I bought three and two of them were slightly damaged but i still am OK with them because the damage is on the backside or not viewable when its installed.
I’m a huge 3M command-strip fan. This one is great except you really need to follow directions. If you handle with care, they look amazing even thought theyre plastic. Not a big fan of paying 30++$ for plastic though. Could use a nice discount there.

This made a great shelf for our trailer at the head of the bed up along the side walls. We put one on both sides. Keeps our glasses, medications, phones, etc handy. This could be added to the RV section! So far it is staying up but we keep the weight light. Nice colour that matches the decor.

My husband and I were looking for a way to display his vinyl figurines as a decor item within our home. These shelves worked perfectly. We aren’t allowed to make holes in the rental apartment so this was a good option. Glad the white one was priced a lot cheaper than the black so we got too.
It is a bit tricky to install perfectly level so anything that could easily slide off I wouldn’t reccomend.

This won’t damage your walls but will possibly damage what you put on it. I love command strips, but stay away from this product.
I put a brand new small midi controller on one (AKAI MPK mini) and a glass mug with LED lights on another – both were less than 2 pounds. Lasted 2 months without any problems, until one night the one holding my midi controller fell off while I was sleeping. And then less than a day later, the one holding my mug fell off like clockwork while I was on my computer. Luckily (?) I have a desk with a computer underneath that broke the fall somewhat; but if they fell to the ground, both items would have been broken or shattered.
Even when it was working properly, this was overpriced for what you’re getting. HALF PRICE ($12-14) for the set of 2 would be a fair price IF IT HELD UP. You can see from the pictures that the adhesion to the wall is not the problem, but the adhesion to the plastic just doesn’t hold up beyond 2 months. The shelves are also smaller than you’d expect so pay attention to the measurements. If you’re absolutely hellbent on getting this, put only the LIGHTEST items that you wouldn’t mind falling off at some point…like some plastic figurines or something. Otherwise, stay clear of this – you’ve been warned.

Love these little shelves! Keep in mind, they ARE small and won’t hold much weight, but they can be perfect in the right circumstances. They were exactly what I needed. Very pleased and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of the need for more arose.

El producto habla que en las etiquetas de fijación viene un lado rojo y uno negro, en este caso traía azul y negro y nunca logre que pegara bien en la pared. Me acabé las 10 etiquetas que traía y no se fijó nunca.

Was easy to put on. Some reviews say it doesn’t stay on… well, if you clean the wall, wait until it’s really dry, out in the stickers and let it sit for 24 hours without placing the shelf on, it works well. It holds my bottles and hasn’t shown any sign of movement etc. Watch your weight capacity. Overall, recommend.

My question before buying was if these could be hung upside down to maximize shelf space. The answer is yes. These were set up in my bathroom within seconds and help declutter the countertop.

I did what a couple of other reviews said. Flipped them upside-down. They still work the same. Not for something heavier though, just the way the back mounts work (slide up or down to mount the shelf). Putting them upside-down means to take it off you pull down. They’re still sturdy this way though. They’re a light/hollow plastic despite them looking more wood/solid.
