Celestron 93524 Binocular Tripod Adapter (Black)

StevieJ –
I received this adaptor yesterday and have not yet tried it on my tripod. However I can say that it’s way stronger than my current plastic mount. This Celestron binocular adaptor is good quality and feels like it will last. I did read other people saying that the length of the screw thread that goes into the binoculars is a little short. I can confirm this. It’s still fits ok but it only has a few turns and that’s it. Odd.

Arrived yesterday. Getting ready this evening to get out and use my new binoculars on my photography tripod using this item. Only to find the thread on the Celestron 93524 Roof and Porro Binocular Tripod Adapter was burred and defective. Thus it would not grip and connect to the binoculars. Very disappointed
*Update*
Amazon were very helpful and sent me out a new item that looks brand new. So I will add more once I have made use of it with my Meade Instruments 15 x 70 Astro Binoculars – Black

Works as advertised, quite robust and generally is very good.

Great product, from the company itself, couldn’t be of better quality. you will need a strong tripod for it to hold the very heavy binoculars this adapter is made for, but if you have the right equipment this is inexpensive and will make using your binoculars much easier. Could come with instruction. My packages was smashed and those might have slipped off the package but it was still easy to figure out.

Exactly as advertised. As mentioned by others, the threaded bolt could be a little longer, but it fit into my Vortex binos perfectly. This item is made of aluminum, not plastic, which adds a bit of weight, but strength as well. Definitely worth the price over more expensive models that do the exact same thing.

Pretty good especially for the price. Does as designed.
There is not enough threads connecting to the binos. Had the remove the rubber protector to get an extra thread or so. (Never feel comfortable threading in anything over 1 lb with just 2 ½ threads)

Does what it’s suppose to but the attachment screw could do with being a bit longer.
When I tightened it up on binoculars there was pitching as it doesn’t seem to get a good grip

This holding device is super easy to use and is very strong

This item is as described. Solid built and works perfectly for my Vortex Diamondback HD binoculars. Attaches to the binoculars fairly easy unless you have big hands. It might be dicey if that is the case. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

I only tried this to see if it worked on my tripod which is twenty years old, suprise suprise a perfect fit for my very large binoculars, made of metal it is very sturdy and holds well. Very happy.

Bought this item to use with Vanguard Endeavor ED 10×42 binoculars. Looked at Vanguards on mount which was around £10 more expensive!
Found mount to be very sturdy and well made. The mount also has the advantage of placing the binoculars further back on the tripod mount which makes it less likely to get in the way of a tripod tilt and shift head.
Only slight problem I had is that due to the width of the mount I could not get the barrels of the binoculars to their closest setting although for the majority of people this would not be a problem unless your eyes like mine are pretty close together. The mount though only restricts the narrowest setting by about 2-3mm so unless you use binoculars with barrels as close together as they go this will not give you any problems at all.
Another thing I found is that however securely tighten the screw to the binoculars the binoculars are free to rotate around the securing bolt. I did not find this a problem though.

Je m’en sers pour tenir mes jumelles sur un trépied. C’est solide et j’en suis content.
