This is my second one from this line of Swiss-made pans and I use them on my induction stove. The heat distribution is incredible. I cooked 2 medallion steaks with no oil on medium, and they turned out as if I had grilled them. The other amazing feature of these pans is how little they splatter.
Do follow the instructions for first-time use however in order to increase the non-stick properties: after washing, coat the pan in oil with a paper towel and put it on the element on medium for 3 mins.
Other attributes: super light-weight and a breeze to clean. Never use on high heat, as is the case with most non-stick pans (I suspect that most people on here complaining about the quality of these pans damaged them with high heat).

The pan is made of thick aluminum. The thickness helps distribute heat evenly so you don’t get hot spots. I’m really liking this frying pan over our gas range- zero complaints so far.
The non-stick is pretty impressive, but I’ve been using it only for a month or so. If it fails or degrades quickly I’ll be back to report it.
Now 5 months in and we still like this pan very much. It’s retained it’s non-stick properties very well and I can tell you between me, my wife and my 2 young adult children, it sees regular action. Even caught my daughter flipping her food with a metal spatula – argh.
I never put it in the dishwasher, though if I remember correctly it’s supposed to be dishwasher safe. Anyways, nothing sticks to it so hand washing is a breeze. Even the oil and grease kinda slide right off.
After 5 intensive months of use, I’m perfectly happy with this skillet. BTW, 12 inches is big, but not too big – the extra space compared to my previous skillet is appreciated.
Edit after 8 months: Who goes back and edits their frying pan review twice? I do. Actually, I’ve never had a non-stick frying pan last very long and I thought it would be interesting to see if this one is the holy grail of non-stick frying pans. So after 8 months, the non-stick is not as effective as new. For example, eggs need a little lubrication if you don’t want them to stick at all. Still, as far as “non-stickiness” goes, it’s much better then my stainless set and the fact that it’s a quality heavy gauge pan, it’s still everyone’s goto pan. Also, the non-stick surface still looks good: It isn’t visibly decaying like I’ve seen on other non-stick pans.

The product quality of the pan is great and it is a perfect non-stick frying pan, cooked omelette, and did frying a bunch of times and till now, no complains.

This is a well designed product with a quality finish that comes well packaged and packed. Easy to use and simple to clean…

This pan lives up to and beyond my expectations.
It heats up fast and evenly, it REALLY is non stick… for the first time in years I was able to fry my perogies without them breaking or sticking to the pan. They flipped over without a card and slid right out. Perfectly golden on each side. I will never use another pan again. Fried eggs where perfect, grilled cheese was perfect. I’ve been using it a lot and every time I’m pleased with the results.

At the beginning it was fine to use, but after just one month and half, the surface become so sticky, especially with eggs. Should be more durable.

I loved the look and the sturdiness when the pan first arrived. It seemed to work well, too… for all five days, after which the non-stick surface suddenly because very much sticky (no harsh chemicals or abrasives were used to clean), which was very frustrating. Tried everything to get rid of the stains, finally gave up and had to sent it back. That being said, I think the item I received might have been faulty. It definitely looked really nice quality from the start. Heat distribution was alright, but could have been better. Cleaning was VERY easy while it was in a good shape, and impossible once the pan went ‘rogue’ — hence 3 stars.

Horrible. Can’t even fry an egg in it. I don’t understand all the good reviews. Bought it based on them. For some reason, the oil that I use finds a way to end up on my stove and make a mess every single time. I’m 40 with 2 kids, I’ve done my share of eggs. I assure you, it’s not my egg frying skills.

This is a great little pan, but it is recommended that you season it as you would a carbon steel pan. Wash, rub with vegetable oil, put on medium heat for 3 minutes. I’m doing that, and it works really well. Also don’t use above a medium heat when cooking. Dishwasher could ruin the finish. The ad doesn’t tell you all that. And it really is a cute little plan. However, I’ve also learned that some doctors say you should throw out any coated pan after one year, so in the long run carbon steel, cast iron, glass or ceramic are the better deal, because they stay safe to cook with.

I needed a non-stick pan for cooking food with minimal oil so I bought this one. I’ve used this pan only for a month so far, and honestly I am already very disappointed with the surface of the pan. I’ve definitely used other non-stick pans before that are slippery smooth, I can cook eggs/meat/veggies on it even without oil, they are like sliding on an ice rink. But this pan food still stick to it most of the time, and now it’s hard to clean as well.
Also another major issue is the pan protrudes in the middle, so when cooking the oil tends to pool near the sides leaving the middle dry.

It might work better with other heat sources.
But it’s the worst pan I’ve had for induction. It takes a while to warm up, then holds the heat, and reacts very slowly to the cooker’s heat switch. Fried food doesn’t exactly stick to it but there is always burnt on food residue after frying.

I bought the 11-inch pan from Carote and was very happy with my purchase which convinced me to purchase this pan. However, this version of the pan had burn marks stuck on it after second use! I have tried all sorts of cleaning methods and scrubbing but just could not remove the stains. The non-stick quality quickly went away as well. Very disappointed.

The item reached today, there were no views, only international reviews. It came in a plastic wrap, no box or protection. Very awkward. Not sure if it’s worth to keep it. Might just return it, better buy known brands. If I keep I’ll update the review
