Too low cut in the waist! My 4yo’s undies and buns are showing constantly and she walks around tugging upward on the waistband all day long. They’re not too small everywhere… just in the length from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch (don’t know the technical term).

I ordered a size large for my slim 12yr old. They fit as expected with a bit of room in the waist and knees. There is a gap at the back of the waist which is disappointing, but her waist is small. A child with a wider mid drift or tummy would fill that in a bit better.
The material is the smooth, shiny, athletic quick dry material which is what I was hoping for (rather than a cotton). They’re a good thickness, so I expect they’ll hold up well. I would have preferred if the crotch had a hidden seam so there would be no possibility of thigh friction fraying the exposed threads … and for comfort, but they’ll do fine.
