I have several boomboxes but they are fairly large. I like this one because it is small enough to take out to the back yard or into different rooms. It easily pulls in stations from 70 kms away, some of which I can’t receive on my boombox. And this is inside a brick townhouse. Both am and fm tuning work well and the sound is good. Being plastic you can’t be rough with it. I’ve had much more expensive units before but for the price of this one it’s a great deal.

I just received this little radio and it looks fantastic in my retro kitchen. But above all, the sound is fantastic. A real treat if you want an uncomplicated, old-fashioned, analog radio that works and you don’t need $5,000 Swedish technology… At less than $30, this is a steal.

Por el precio vale la pena, es un buen producto, solo que en las imágenes de la publicación se ve mas pequeño, viene con su eliminador por si lo quieres tener en tu oficina, cocina, 😀

Great light- weight retro AM/FM radio. I love the simplicit of its analog dials and buttons. A plug-in is included but I use batteries. Fits great at the back of my kitchen counter as dimensions are H=7.25″ x W=9″ x D=2.5″. Great reception even with the folding antenna left out of site on the back side. Sound is great for the size. This black/beige radio blends nice with our stainless steel/ black faced kitchen appliances. I listen to my news very clear now each morning with my cofffee.

Para sintonizar las estaciones es todavía de darle vuelta a la perilla, es complicado sintonizar la estación de radio que uno quiere… fuera de eso, sonido, apariencia es muy bueno, cumple muy bien con la función, lo que si recomendaría al fabricante es poner digital para sintonizar las estaciones…

Received unit in unusable condition , broken .
Poor quality control .
Did not work at all.
Tired of returning items via Amazon due to the quality of items being sold. But , am returning this unit…… so they can hike the price up for my convenience, forcing the writer to pay more for this unit… sigh.
2021-05-06- After sending back the 1st radio , I decided to give it another try and order another one , as I am thinking that ” accidents can happen ” in production .
The second one arrives and the writer plugs it in and turns the unit on. The only sound made is ” click”.
Adjust volume , there is no sound.
Place fresh batteries inside the radio unit , unplug the unit, again , just a “click”.
Plug in unit with batteries , again , just a “click”.
Another piece of trash going back to amazon .
The unit sent the 2nd was in a factory box, in a shipping bag. No packing balloons or packing peanuts in sight. The packaging looked like a wild animal or a forklift got to it , difficult to indicate which one.
The unit is pretty to look at, that is a fact. The writer is advising that the unit is very light duty , breaks easily and can advise that to keep it upright that batteries would always have to be installed as it is top heavy.
Again, not impressed x 2 . Writer will not be fooled again . Will purchase locally . Unit sent back for refund. Don’t be fooled , very cheaply made.

What a great looking picture, and the reviews on this radio are stellar. But man oh man I have never seen such a piece of work. The speaker sounds like the kind of speaker you get in a greeting card, and the knobs are the same sort of quality of plastic as you find in dollar store goods. Finding a radio band takes a solid effort, and even then you’re not quite sure if you’re off the band or if that’s just how it sounds. These reviews have to be totally skewed, because honestly there is no modicum of quality anywhere in this radio. I mean what should you expect, but I just feel bad for having being duped into making this purchase and then expecting it to actually be decent.

I received a lot of compliments for this radio. It has a really cute retro look to it.
The plastic is slightly flimsy and the receiver dial is a bit off however. If that’s important to you, it will probably bug you. If you’re like me, purchased it for its retro look, it will be fine.

No pesa nada es de plástico pero funciona muy bien, se puede llevar con pilas y sin conectar directo a la luz, no detecta todas las frecuencias pero funciona bien

The knobs and case are all plastic, including face of tuning dial, which does not illuminate. Separate dial for volume and one dial for am/fm and off selector for easy use. The device can be converted to a portable radio with 4 AA batteries (not included) or you can also plug it into the wall for stationary use (adapter included). The unit is very light, I added the batteries to give unit weight so it does not tip over. This is a simple, old school am/fm radio. I have also included a video so you can hear the sound.

Excelente recepción. Muy buen sonido. Sólo la perilla de encendido y selección am fm se siente algo falsa. Espero dure. Muy bonito aparato.

Es un producto que es llamativo a la vista. No hay mucho que decir en cuanto a su funcionamiento ya que es un producto muy sencillo. Lo que me agradó es que tiene una buena recepción, ya que sintoniza muy bien algunas estaciones en ambas bandas de frecuencia (cosa que con otros dispositivos con radio no puedo decir lo mismo). El dispositivo incluye un adaptador de voltaje por lo que no es necesario usar pilas. En cuanto al sonido he leido opiniones diferentes; sin embargo, considero que el sonido es el correcto para este tipo de dispositivo. Hasta el momento no tengo ningún inconveniente con mi producto ya que llengó en perfectas condiciones y mucho antes de lo estipulado. Estoy muy satisfecho con mi producto.
