I’ve been using Beretta for a couple years now and I really prefer their filtration system. The Replacements are quick to clean and assemble and the filters are easily recyclable

I’ve had my Britta for a few years and finally used up my last filter. The filter that I took out was shorter and wider and fit perfectly. This replacement filter doesn’t fit snugly at all. I have to make sure it’s pushed firmly into the hole or water just spills over the sides into the bottom when I fill it. The grooves don’t line up with anything since the filter doesn’t touch the insides of the shaft. I’m a skeptic which is why I only bought one filter. I need to look for a more sustainable option.

I’ve been using Brita for 15 years and their filters and I’ve never been disappointed. At first I was a bit hesitant with the new design since many well-known company tend do downgrade their products to save money while using their establish name to keep selling but the quality is till there. I suspect these filters last longer than the old ones. I upgraded my jug and can easily get 4 months on a single filter

The other reviewers are correct. I’ve used Brita filters for years and never had them fail until this order. The first filtered quickly for about two weeks and slowed significantly (would take hours to fill a pitcher). I thought maybe it was just that particular filter and put in the second one. That one lasted only a few days before it stopped filtering altogether. Not sure if these are true Brita filters or if Brita is trying to push people to buy their longer-lasting filters, but I’m not buying them again.

It’s a good a product as it helps to purify the water. The taste does change and it might take time for you to get acquainted to it, if you were a regular tap water drinker. The filter only lasts for 3 months and you will have to buy this again. If you compare this against buying bottled water every week, the Brita is very cost effective.

I have initially ordered Brita Jug with included Filter. Just after two weeks the filter got jammed and water stopped coming out of it. So I ordered this filter again, the new one only lasts for a week. Now the taste of water has changed and its horrible. I also see some black particles in water coming out from filter itself. Drinking water like that is a big health/safety hazard.

I tried to reach Amazon customer care but they said they can’t accept the return or replacement for this filter and I can not get any refund either. So please stay away from this cheap quality filter. I hope this honest review will help someone in making decision.

Been through dozens of these over the years, never had a defective one before this one. Water just drips through slowly and tastes worse than from the tap. Not worth returning for the price so just tossed it and bought another from the store.

I am using ot gor 10 days now but still I feel the taste of water is very different compared to what it was before. I thought it will change after a day or two so I kept discarding water for initial 2-3 days but still the taste is different. It seems to be working as saltyness of water is completely removed (compared to tap water). But still I don’t like the taste of this filtered water. Another thing I read was we need to change this filter very frequently. Will try to look for some other solution for filtering water.

I do some testing on my drinking water. This type of water filtration does work, but this may not be enough for some one with more complex water problems. I recommend that you do some water testing to see what is in your water first. Besides that I can’t justify paying $10for this cartridge at the store. Thank you Amazon for giving me a price that I can stomach.

Tried the cheaper, Non-Brita filters and they just aren’t as good unfortunately. These new Brita filters also do not require a 15 minute soak in water,. you instead just run cold water over the water filter now for 15 seconds and it is ready to go. Also, there are so far a lot less black flecks in the top of the Brita canister and the water tastes great. Overall, to save a $1.50-2 (ish) dollars, the off-brand filters are just not worth it, my guess is they do not contain as much activated charcoal, I base this on my vast knowledge of water filter technology and science background that comes with being a communications major, so basically, nothing, but the filter is great.

I resent when a company does this. They used to last 3 months, now pretty much the same thing apparently lasts 2 months – so Brita is sticking us like many companies during Covid – it’s not enough that they are selling more now they have to reduce it’s efficiency – I find it harder to get in place and it arrived in extremely poor shape

I purchased a Brita filter that came with an Advanced filter but I bought an extra one just to have on hand. It’s been a long while since I have owned and used a Brita filter (or any filter for that matter) so this Advanced filter is something new. From reading the description it seemed like it was a revolution in the old soaking of a new replacement filter and all that jazz. But in reality there really isn’t much of a difference between the old replacement filters and the Advanced ones in my opinion. The “advanced” filters only mean that you don’t have to soak them for (I can’t remember the exact time) about 30-45 minutes. I also can’t remember off the top of my head the exact price difference between the old filters and the Advanced but there is a price increase for the Advanced. If the difference is significant (say, more than a few dollars) I’d say save your money and just buy the non-Advanced ones. With the Advanced filters you still have to run it for a few minutes under the faucet and you still have to throw out (or as Brita suggests: use it to water plants) the water from the first two or three filterings. So really does that make it “Advanced”?
