This is a definitely a great purchase. Not only because of the price point; but you receive two boxes of 20 Lens Filter. Just as a comparison; buying one box of the Lens Filters cost around $7.00 from a Big Box Store. The same Big Box Store charges $13.00 for the exact same product sold on Amazon! A saving of $3.00 at best.
A few things to also note; the packaging is different than what is shown on Amazon’s website. I received both boxes loose in a small plastic envelope. Not a concerning but I did inspect both boxes to ensure no tampering. Just from a Customer Centric point of view; it would be nice to have the product in the original box as shown; generally there is additional information that is usually not on the individual boxes. Why I say this; on the individual box it states that these Lens Filters are only to be used for PRO 6000 Series. I did check my Thermometer but the Model Number wasn’t listed other than that the name which indicated that it was ThermoScan.
Just to ensure I had the correct Lens Filters; I took one of the Caps I purchased from Amazon and the other from Walmart. Both are identical (Please see pictures attached; the Lens Filter on the right side with a small indent is the one from Amazon). They both fitted on my Thermometer without any problems. You will notice that there is a small white plastic lock on the side of where the Lens Filter is supposed to go. It will click once the cap is firmly placed (Please see pictures). So double check when you receive your Order to make sure it’s compatible; I would suspect in a majority cases it would be.
So I’m all set for the flu season! With kids; this is definitely a must buy!!

These fit over the probe tip but they do not push the little red sensor, so you can’t take your temperature because the thermometer thinks you don’t have a cover over it.
The only way you can take your temperature is by holding your finger down on the red sensor, which decreases the accuracy of the reading.

The actual lens filters were exactly what I was expecting and arrived in good time. However, having read the product description I was expecting the 40 units they described and not the 20 that arrived. So, be aware – you will only get 20.

Easy to use. Fit the Thermoscan perfectly well. The only thing is that you have to change them with every use as they have recommended and sometimes when you want to check the fever a multiple times a day it just becomes alot to change.

I feel like they should change the name to “ear cover thermometer thing”. They are absolutely not made to be used as camera filters. 3 years and $4,326.76 later, I’m finding this out.
Let me elaborate. It’s called a “lens filter” but by no means does that mean you can stick it to the backside of your camera on an Apple iPhone. This was my first mistake. Every time I snapped a photo it told me I had a fever. I kept returning to my proctologist but he kept condescendingly telling me he had better things to do. As if trying to have a peaceful backyard BBQ with your immediate family on a Sunday afternoon during quarantine isn’t during business hours. Fine, next time I’ll bring a pie. Anyways, where was I? Oh yes, don’t do drugs kids. And for God’s sakes, stay out of my petunia garden.

Was happy to find these on amazon as our local stores are always sold out since covid started. They fit perfectly and there are plenty in the box so they will last a long time.

Both boxes I ordered were already opened when received. How could this happen? Not even sure if it’s brand new.

If you have a thermoscan thermometer, you will eventually need these. Since there are 40 filters in the pack they last awhile. They were a good price too and shipped to my house with prime made them even better.
I also like that these are now a subscribe and save item. Since if I now need to take my kids’ temperature every day before school, I am going to use a lot of them.

It is way to easy to use several of these at once, they are so thin and they stick together. Yet, its such a first world problem, its hard to get much sympathy about this…

Quite expensive for what you get but they are name brand so that’s something.
I wouldn’t trust my baby’s temperature to anything less than perfect. It sound like a cliche, but I’m tried of Made in China knock offs
