Super tracker pour un hôte Turo. Ça permet de bien évaluer la conduite des voyageurs et retrouver son véhicule en cas de pépin. On peut également anticiper si il va y avoir un dépassement de kilométrage pour la réservation. L’interface de l’application mobile est confondante, mais le site web de Bouncie est mieux conçu.

I ordered this when I read all the good reviews.
I canceled my order as soon as I saw that it only works when the ignition is on.
So basically if your car gets towed or if you’d like to locate your car in a crowded parking lot, YOU CAN’T.

My aging mother likely has dementia, although currently not yet diagnosed. While we are getting things in order for diagnosis, care, etc. – I wanted to monitor her vehicle for driving habits while she is still driving and also to ensure she made it home after visits. One time she lost her car in a large parking lot – couldn’t find it, so convinced a stranger to drive her home! Luckily This device has been amazing & fool-proof. Here’s what I like about it:
– Custom Geo-Fencing Alerts: She’d often forget to call back to let me know she made it home okay after a visit. With the geo-fencing zone I’ve setup for her house, I can get notifications when she’s safely arrived home, or at other destinations (sister’s house, etc).
– Vehicle Health Alerts: There was a span of a week or so where she was forgetting to close her tailgate or doors when unloading groceries – which would drain her battery. 4 out of 7 days! Each time I received a low battery alert so I could notify her to check her doors and go for a short drive to re-charge the battery.
– Sharing Bouncie: The ability to share monitoring capabilities to other users is great for a family with an aging senior. I’ve shared this to my sister so she can also keep an eye on things as well.
Some of the additional features are really nice to see such as hard-braking/acceleration alerts and alerts for early-morning/late-night driving. For the low cost of the device and minimal monthly subscription – it is cheap peace of mind while we need it.

One star I purchased this for my daughters car not only for driving history but for ease of mind on maintinace. It turns out every maintinace item has be manually entered into the app for each recommended maintinance occurrence. In reviewing my purchase process and decision this manual entry process is not presented in the marketing material. So buyer beware but add insult when I spoke with the help desk it’s obvious they know it’s a problem. They squarely blamed it on a lack of clear maintinace guidance from the manufacturers (which is published in every owners manual and could be loaded based on the vin the user is required to load into the app )… I was on my own if I wanted to use the feature … only after I mentioned cancelling did they offer to load maintinace requirements. So ok I get it .. but their answers were too ready … I honestly feel I got played.

You think you got problems – my octogenarian parents are less trustworthy than my teenage son. Someday, they might not be able to find their way home but I will be able to find them. This fifty something year old installed the device and app in less than 30 minutes, (without help from my IT personal department (teenager).
Works like a champ. Having Bouncie in the car is like hiring my parents a sitter for $8 a month.

Fantastic gadget. Absolutely must have. Even tells you how much fuel is left. Speed, braking etc. Having peace of mind knowing where my teenager is. Totally recommended!

Plug on the car, add it to the app and it’s working! Only wish I could switch to km/h instant of mp/h (could not find how if it’s possible). Very easy to use, you see all the speed, hard accelerations/braking, etc… loving it!

Love it. Easy to set up and use. Can program your own settings and alerts as well as zones and curfews. Works exactly as stated. It notifies you when a trip has started or ended. Unlike what others have said, when car is off , it does give you the location of the car. Unless of course someone picks it up and moves it. Lol. I have one in each vehicle. Great for families with teens or young adults.

Maybe I misunderstood it but this does not track the location of the vehicle if it is not turned on. So it it is towed without being turned on, you won’t know where your vehicle is.

I love this thing.
My daughter just started driving, and I wanted to help her make good choices and be safe. This device is perfect.
Set up was a breeze. Download the app on your phone, create an account, then plug the device into the OBD port on your vehicle. That’t it. Once you’re set up, you have to drive for a bit for everything to sync up and start working. Don’t get alarmed if you don’t see trip data. It will show up once installation and syncing are complete.
Trip data is comprehensive and accurate. Won’t take the time to list all the data that is available, since it is outlined in the product description. Suffice it to say it does everything that is says it does.
No issues with the app. It always seems to run smoothly, and information seems to be up to date.
Why a 4 instead of a 5? I turned on the alerts for extreme braking and extreme acceleration. I purposely did a hard brake and hard acceleration, but I did not get an alert. I was able to reach someone from Bouncie on chat, and they told me that the car is still syncing, and eventually alerts will show up. I’ll change the rating and update this review if that happens.
Also integrates nicely with Alexa. I tried it and it works, but my attitude about that is….so what?. Not sure how much (if at all), I will use Alexa with this device.
Overall, this has all the features that you could probably want. One of the biggest bonuses is the monthly monitoring fee. It’s $8 per month, which is significantly lower than the $20-$25 that most other GPS/data trackers charge. They also have a 3 for $20 plan. At that price, you could hook up all of your vehicles. At the moment, I’m only using this on the car my daughter drives, but I may decide to add my car later.
Bottom line is I would recommend this.
**Update 11/13/18** I went ahead and bumped this up to 5 stars. As noted in my initial review, my only issue was that I didn’t seem to be getting alerts for hard braking or acceleration. The support folks at Bouncie told me it was still syncing, and it was. I get the alerts now. Everything works perfectly, including Geofencing. When my car leaves or enters my driveway, or leaves or enters school, I get an alert. Helps me to know that my daughter got to and from school safely, even if I’m not home.

It does everything and more than I expected and monthly charge is only $11.55 CAN, it updates every 15 seconds which is more than enough for me. Has speeding alerts, low fuel alerts and much more. I’m very happy with this!

Excellent product it is very accurate, easy to set up and the customer service is beyond reproach. Great value for money. I have tried other trackers , manufactured in China but I had to return them all for one reason or another.
