Vraiment jolis, font la job mais ils ne sont pas a un angle de 90 degres, ils ouvrent vers l’exterieur. J’ai essaye de les redresser avec plus ou moins de succes. Un peu desapointee, mais le look est bien, joli modele. Livraison rapide.

I got these to hold my textbooks on my desk because I was tired of stacking them. I’ve found that if they are not pressed together and holding the books tightly, they bend under the weight of larger books. If you’re someone, like me, who likes to leave a little extra wiggle room for easy access, this might not be the bookends for you. For the purpose I needed, I ended up switching this pair with another pair I have, which provides more support for large, heavy books. Probably okay for novel sized books, though.

It is exactly as is appears in pictures. Nt sure how/when this happened but if it arrives a bit bent like one of my 2 pieces did, it was less than 90 degrees, be careful bending it back slowly to 90 degrees. No real issue other than that.

They are super cute but not sturdy enough so, if you hoping to hold together a large set of books with this pair I suggest that you find different books ends. I am using it for my college textbooks, journals, and notebooks and these bookends do not hold up at all. They bend over backwards trying to support the weight of my books which causes them to stand diagonally instead of straight.

Great price, aesthetically pleasing…but the metal is slightly cheap as i’ve only had mine for a month or two and they’re already bowing outwards so my books are sitting at a slight angle on the ends. I should also mention, i only have paperbacks and only about a dozen books being kept in these bookends, so its not like they’re experiencing excessive weight. Other than that, i do really love them!

I needed some bookends that weren’t like $50 so I decided on these. They are so lightweight I worried they wouldn’t hold up the huge line of books pictured above, but they did a great job. Haven’t had a problem! I can slide a couple books out to look at and they still stay in place.

I really like them, but what I would have liked even more is if the word BOOK was on the front of the bookend instead of the side OR if there was an additional metal cut out of the word ‘Book’ in the front in addition to being on the sides.
For example, I have bookends that are quotation marks. The actual metal quotation marks are on the front of the bookends, while the sides are the pieces of metal that the marks were cut from. When you add the books, you see the quote marks on the bindings of the books (quote, unquote). Just a cute thought.
