Recibí el producto y se aprecia de una calidad ideal por el precio que pagaste. Puedes calentar (manejando cuidadosamente) la leche en en tu parrilla eléctrica, y espumar manualmente. Exquisito para un capuchino.

I got the best froth by plunging about 150 times starting with cold milk and than heating it for 99 sec at power 7 in microwave oven. The froth wasn’t near as thick when I heated the milk up first.

Unfortunately, this does not froth well at all. I have used differnent types of milk, homogenized, 2 percent, skim and only get a little froth that dissipates quickly. I do not like to out bad reviews and didnt bother sending it back because I can use it to steep tea. other than that, I would not buy it for a frothing milk.

I bought it to use as a glass beaker for heating and pouring milk. Then I started aerating it just to try it out. The foam developed very quickly (within 30 seconds or less of pumping) and with a large amount. You even get a light fluffy layer on top and the more creamy condensed layer underneath. After that, I started using it more frequently.
    Here are some notes:
-if you’re pumping vigourously some milk may come out of the aperture
-sometimes the mesh disc may loosen so make sure it’s screwed on
-when you’re pouring, it’s kind of tricky to get all the foam out at the end

I use heated soy milk for foam in my flat tops, and the Bodum makes the soy milk like whipped cream. It’s amazing, 100 pumps and it’s ready. If you use soy milk, be sure to use a brand that does not add canola or some other foam retardant oil to their recipe. Those won’t work. I use Silk and the store brand here that doesn’t add foam retardants. Delicious foam in a minute. I doubt that any of the nut milks would work. Just a note to the person who finds it messy. You can rotate the lid so that the opening for pouring is sealed during whipping. A small thing, but it makes a big difference.

Perfect for frother milk, good quality but very fine glass, careful when cleaning. Not the cheapest but probably the best.

I was surprised how large the item was. The fill line for a cup is about 1 ” off the bottom. Still it works well, and we do heat our cup of milk in the frother – minus its metal rod plunger – in the microwave for one minute without problem We rest it on a silicon pad when frothing, and use a wood silicon spatula to scrape out. Breakable otherwise. Keep metal objects out of it and keep it off the granite and do not let it sit unattended in the sink. About a week or two old now.

I used to go out with my friend every week to study at starbucks and I would always get some sort of tea latte. Quarantine then hit and I was craving lattes more than ever going off the walls insane for a drink that had an airy texture that would be so smooth on my tongue. I began a search for one that could be done by hand and easily heated up. This one seemed to be the best price and I purchased it with no hesitation. I awaited patiently as it arrived. The weather was still cold for the perfect time for a hot drink. I steeped some chai and got out some milk and began using the frother. No leaks or spills. Easy to clean. I began making lattes for everyone. Breakfast lunch and dinner I became a millennial who’s personality is how they can’t live without coffee but with lattes. It may have turned me into some sort of monster but I’ve never felt so alive this whole time never leaving my home. Would 100% recommend.

So I, like others am replacing a manual frother I’ve had for many years that just broke. I prefer to heat my milk in the microwave before frothing so was looking for glass. My old one had a plastic handle and base and I’m not sure why I haven’t been able to find that. I was concerned about picking one without a handle and not belong able to grab it when it is hot. I’m a bit concerned about breaking it but didn’t want to go to stainless steel so that’s how it is. Here is what I like about this one. 1.) I’m enjoying that the mixing parts are black, it’s easy to rinse off and you can see all the milk and not miss any. 2.) The glass is easy to clean. It’s a nice wide size you can get your hand into no extra tools required. 3.) It froths really well, just like a manual frother should. There is a little milk when you are done but lots of froth. I guess an electric may make bubbles out of that little bit of milk at the end but I really prefer the manual. 4.) It’s quiet. I can froth my milk every morning when the kids are still sleeping. 5.) I don’t have to find an outlet in my little kitchen to plug it in. 6.). I can froth lots of milk for my latte. The line is a cup with quite a bit of room above it. You can fill it a little higher than the line, cut just gets a little messier as the lid isn’t super tight to hold it in. 7.). It’s easy to pump the frother up and down. My old one had a tighter seal to the glass so was firmer to press. 8.) My old one had a more complicated 3 plate system for frothing that was harder to rinse out. I was worried this one might not froth as well, but the screen has tiny mesh and does a great job. It goes all the way to the bottom of the glass which I saw in some other reviews some do not. 9.). I haven’t put it in the dishwasher because it’s so easy to rinse out the parts right after using. 10.) I was also nervous that the handle looked fragile but it seems okay now that I have it. In my picture I have a full 16 oz Starbucks mug with a small espresso in the bottom and frothed eggnog on top. So yummy. I had filled the frother a little above the line and had to drink some before I could add all the froth to my cup. Eggnog seems to whip up about 3.5 times where the milk I use doubles. Enjoy!!!

I really like this. I had previously spent over $70 on an electric version which failed in 8 months. I also bought one of the battery-powered mini whisks but it wasn’t that great.

This does the job very well and you don’t have to expend that much time to get nice volume and froth. My only slight reservation is that the glass container seems rather fragile. I am hand-washing it with care, but I wish the glass was more sturdy.
