We use it as a baby monitor. It allows us to check on our baby without disturbing her sleep.
For those of you who say it is not a constant streaming, know that you can press on the continu button when it shows up! As so.eone else said, the name of the product is blink!
We also use the outdoors blink cameras and we are extremely sayisfied!

I already have an outdoor Blink XTC on the front of my house and it’s great. I purchased this Mini and I mounted it inside facing my backyard thru the patio door. It works great and the picture is Excellent.

I have owned several cheaper cameras, including Wyze and Xiaomi, and I really like the features of the Blink ecosystem. Granted they are a bit more expensive than the others I mentioned, but they are stable, and rarely have any issues, and just work. I will definitely be buying the new hub/bridge that comes out that supports local recording for the minis, when available in the US/CAN, as the cloud storage they give you, runs out in Dec. 2020.

I have numerous original blink cameras around my home that work fabulous… was excited when they released this… I purchased right away! Very disappointed!!!! I would NOT recommend!!!! Unless the person walks right smack in front of it.. it doesn’t catch it.. and even then it doesn’t work all the time… I bought 2 sets… I can’t find the boxes so can’t return them … stick with the original blink

I bought this for my nursery and so far so great, the image quality is wonderful, the app could be better but it doesn’t affect my review really, the motion detection notification will be so wonderful when my little one is here and overall pretty impressed. I plan on getting an echo show for myself and an echo for my nursery so I wanted the blink mini to go with them and I’m far from disappointed. I was sceptical about the night vision since I’ve never purchased many cameras like this before but it works so good, this camera will provide me with a lot of piece of mind!
Edit: edited this to say the description SAYS it does not provide a continuous stream, so if you’re going to buy and then complain about that, no it doesn’t have one and it says so! 🙂

I started out loving these cameras — at first. Then Blink did something to their App and ever since I’ve had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS and the entire home camera system is uncontrollable! I’ve emailed tech support over 5 times and each and evey time they cut & paste the same response blaming “my wifi network”. But this issue (error on attached screenshot) happens on my wifi, my phone and tables cellular connection, and also on the other 5 private home wifi networks I’ve tried to use. It’s clearly an issue on Blinks end, but they refuse to address it. In final email I was told to install some 3rd party “private network security scanner” which is not developed by Blink or Amazon and the apps terms of use claims it scans and stores everything on my network and traffic. This is the app they said they needed run to “solve my problem”. Yeah right. Again, this happens on and off with both multiple wifi networks and even cellular.
Anyways.. I’m now stuck with all my cameras in “ARMED” mode and can’t turn them off due to these errors with their broken app.
After 6 months of these cameras, they’re now uncontrollable and will be coming down tomorrow and replaced with a camera system that actually has a functioning app and/or another way to view and control them other then a broken cloud system.
You’ve been warned.. cheap products are cheap for a reason.

I bought the camera to use it as a baby camera. After getting it all set up which took no time at all it worked great. But it doesn’t give you constant streaming video. If you don’t continuously click the continue button the camera turns off and you have to wait for a notification before you know if anything is going on with your baby. I have searched through the settings and read a bunch of things and nowhere does it say you can set it to just continuously display. So I DO NOT recommend this at all as a baby camera or something you would like to have a constant stream.
