It’s perfect for small spaces. Nice and compact. There’s only my husband and I so we typically only use it to reheat small meals and such. It’s perfect for us. We went from a large higher-end over the range microwave to this compact microwave during our renovations. I would say it’s not as strong as my previous one but honestly it does its job.

My excitement with this microwave was short lived, it stopped working two months after I received it. All of the functions blow the fuse (breaker), only the clock and timer work now. After it stopped working I immediately called the customer service number listed on the microwave and I spoke to a representative who was very difficult to deal with. Since then I have written several times to the company and 4 WEEKS HAVE PASSED AND I HAVE RECEIVED NO NEWS ABOUT MY CASE. They keep answering with “we’ll be following up with you within 1-2 business days” after which I don’t get a reply at all. Don’t waste your time and money on this microwave! Black + Decker is obviously not the quality company it used to be!

Nice looking microwave and it worked great…For not even 24 hours, monday afternoon it just stopped working for no reason, there’s no power even going into it, at first I thought it was the outlet, but no, the microwave is completely shot…
Black and Decker typically make decent products but not in this case. Maybe it was a defective model but after reading some of the other reviews in here it appears that most people that have bought this microwave have had problems with it, and one review in particular had the exact same thing happen..

In recent years my wife and I have bought a number of Black & Decker small appliances, and all have worked well at a fair price. Given the price of this microwave my wife and I have no complaints. The turnstile is nice, it heats evenly, it’s easy to use, and it matches our other B&D small appliances.

Door hinge not installed properly and so binds every time door is opened with a great squeaking noise. Really cheap looking parts to the hinge and so problem not surprising. This piece of junk went straight back to Amazon.

Sometime it amazes how engineers can be so smart, and yet so stupid! I just received my new microwave oven and hooked it up only to discover that I cant read the function keys without a flashlight. The primary function keys are labeled with black lettering on a dark gray background. How stupid is that? To me, it’s very stupid. I am inclined to box this up and send it back. Or else I will have to print my own labels. It is also unbalanced; but I could fix that easy enough.

No me acomodo mucho a los números automáticos ya que para segundos hay que hacer ajustes, pero me da la impresión de que con los números hay que fijarse que caliente bien. El plato interior es un poco complicado ya que aveces si no está bien ajustado no se mueve para que la comida dé la vuelta- Tanto presionar el número 1 y el 2 se han quedado un poco marcados

Its a nice microwave and does the job, nothing fancy. It looks decent but not as classy as the picture. I have used this brand before for other small appliances and quality is average and they can last couple of years which is i am expecting

At first this microwave was fine but after only 3 months it shorted out. The warranty is only good in the U.S. but I live in Canada so I am out of luck. Don’t buy this microwave especially if you live in Canada because the warranty will not be valid. In any case, it has to be shipped back and the cost would be prohibitive.
