Very convenient, this is how the psvr should have been out of the box.
Good sound, far better than expected.
On the ear design makes them easy to position. Highly recommended.

If you own an Oculus Rift S and need a set of headphones which are similar to the original Oculus Rift on ear headphones which came with that headset, the Bionik Mantis Headphones are a decent stopgap solution until something official (or unoffical) comes along. The clips, meant for the halo band on the PSVR, do indeed fit on an Oculus Rift S (though just barely), which is great news for people who prefer an on ear solution in VR!
Quality wise, they seem well built, the sound quality is decent, though I wouldn’t call them super dynamic or anything, however they’re absolutely passable and a bit better than I expected at the end of the day! Only gripe is I think they could have threaded the headphone wires up though the arm of the headphone so the wires came out of the top, leaving less dangling wires and such (I’m thinking about the PSVR here as these were made for that headset). For this reason I’m removing a star, otherwise, I’m glad these exist and happy I was able to get a pair for my Rift S!
Update Oct 21 2020: I have been able to use these without issue on my Quest 2 as well so, adding that here for those who are unsure.

This PSVR kit is just great to add immersion to my WMR (PC) experience. The only negative upon my use is the fact that they could have included some integrated microphone to provide a 100% complete experience. Really adds to my pleasure and allows me to get into awesome games without the whole house being exposed and also instead of TV centered sound the surround portion is greatly enhanced with an integrated solution like this. I tried many headphones and headset that added too much weight or prevented good air circulation which is a must for VR comfort. I’m really happy with this!!

The Bionik Mantis are made to be used with the original PSVR headset but work very well with the new Oculus Rift-S. I’m no audiophile but these things sound as good if not better than the headphones on the Rift CV1, the Samsung Odyssey Plus and the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap. See picture I attached, I moved the Rift-S cable clip behind the Mantis headphones, ran the cable above resting on the headphone swivel housing and used a Velcro strap over the rear padding to further secure the Rift-S cable. You just have to make sure the cable doesn’t get in the way of the left side headphone’s free movement. Once you have that setup right, these are comfortable and sound great. Not to mention the convenience of NOT having to put on separate headphones or putting in earbuds once you have the Rift-S on your head. 🙂

This has changed my entire psvr experience. The sound quality is surprisingly good considering they don’t cover or enter the ears. The best bit is not having to mess around with removing and untangling headphones every time you put the headset on.

I’m always weary of third party videogame products but these are great. They fit nicely and are very adjustable. The sound quality is much better than I expected from an over-ear headphone like this. The look matches the PSVR very well. The only issue I can see so far is the cords can get a little unwieldy between these and the PSVR headset but you get used to it and just find a way to put the headset on a certain way.
Playing games with these is a much better/more comfortable experience than with the original earbud headphones and I find myself much more immersed while using them.

update: in order to fit on an Oculus Quest 2 elite strap you have pull the clip out of the springs a bit further then the clip will go, don’t worry if you are careful it doesn’t break the clip or at least I didn’t (twice), then once the clip is clip over the elite strap push the clip back into the clip/spring holder and it will hold. I have been using my first pair of bionik with my Oculus Quest 2 for several months now and they are fantastic in terms of sound. Good enough for movie immersions, game playing and the fact is that you don’t feel like you are enclosed into a pair of headphones. The Bionik looks better than the other cheap VR headphones and probably sounds better. I bought another pair because my Sony VR needs one too since I am using it for the Oculus. I have up the 4 star rating to 5 stars now because it works on the Oculus Quest.
Old Review: I have the new VR headset where the headphone jack is on the VR headset itself and thus the wire length for the bionic is way too long. I did wrap up the wires but there are now wires where none use to be. To put on the VR headset you have to grab all the wires along with the VR headband to wiggle your head in between the mess. I tried wrapping the wires up alongside the VR headband but because of the expanding headset band we cannot simply tie the wires to the headset. I was really doubtful on the quality of these headphones but since we are just playing VR games the sound quality turn out quite nice . It rested on my ears without making me feel like I was wearing a headphone and the sound quality was good enough to make my game immersive. I like the fact that I can just push the headphones up without feeling like I am removing my headphones entirely or popping out my ear phones and having them dangle beneath my ear. I would have given this headphone a 5 star if the wires weren’t so cumbersome; remember that with the Version 2 VR headset the earplugs are nice and tidy on the headset already, so adding this headset is almost a step backwards in terms of tidiness. Although the headphones function well, I am not a fan of the rabbit ears but it probably has to be this way if we wanted the ability to push up the headphones. Very nice addition to your PS VR gear.

I moved to these from a pair of Sennheisers, so they had a tough act to follow. Yes, initially I did notice a slight loss in sound quality, this would have been an issue if I was using the headphones for music, but for gaming, after a few minutes I noticed little difference in sound quality, but a big difference in convenience. The headphone click into position over your ears nice and snug, but can be clicked into a second position away from your ears for ease of putting the headset on and off with plenty of clearance. Cable management requires a bit of thought. I used a 30cm extension cable and then taped the cables along the back of the headset and then to the main headset cable so that the cables don’t get in the way when putting the headset on and taking it off. After about a month of use I have no niggles or complaints. Recommended if convenience is important to you.

Fits great onto Rift S (there are youtube vids demonstrating but essentially wind the headband all the way out, snap the headset blocks over and then route your cable and plug in), very comfortable with good immersive sound once on.

These earphones look amazing!
You know what would be totally awesome ……….. if they worked.
Mine have never worked! They are completely lucky that I am the laziest person in the world, cause I couldn’t be bothered to try to repackage it and log onto Amazon and get return label, then print It, cut the the label, find a box, put the earphones in it, tape it shut and do on (I’m already tired just thinking about all the stuff that I would have to be do.
Well at least I wrote a review.
I just left them attached to PlayStation VR when not in use so people think I’m cool.
Done!

Fit reasonably well on a third part halo strap with the Oculus Quest 2.
Sound quality isn’t hifi, but certainly acceptable, and cables don’t get in the way.
