Barska 30-90×90 Waterproof Colorado Spotter Scope and Tripod

Eye relief is horrendous – I had to press my eye right up to the eyepiece in order to see a full picture, if you wear glasses or are at the shooting range wearing safety glasses then I can’t imagine this working at all. Once focused in the visual quality wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either. Tripod is junk, does not adjust smoothly at all so you will lose your picture and spend a lot of time fiddling with it. Better to buy a scope alone and a nicer tripod separately. This extends out to a full size tripod (like one for a camera or something), too big for a table top or shooting range use.
Client d’Amazon –
cadeau original pour personne vivant près d’un lac. Le télescope est de très bonne qualité.

Great value for the money. I upgraded from binoculars, to a table top spotter 20-60×60 and now this large tripod mounted 30-90×90. I absolutely love this larger spotter. I have enjoyed getting up close visuals of my nesting birds and have even spotted foxes and deer from a distance. This is not good for following running animals, at least not for me, however to sit and watch birds in and out of nests or on the water it is great. Good clarity on the lenses, travel bag was included. One nice feature is that it is waterproof so you can set up on a misty day or even stay out in slight rainy weather and not have to worry about water damage. Would highly recommend for an avid backyard birder. There maybe stronger magnification spotters out there but for myself this is perfect.

It works pretty good. Nice and heavy and seems to stay put when in a position which makes zeroing in on your target reasonably simple.

For the price your getting quite a deal for a spotter that can hit 200 yards. Identical to other reviews on Amazon, its perfect for 100 yards at the range. Maxes out at 200 yards but dont sneeze or breather when using it otherwise its back to finding your target.

The Barsks30-90×90 is a terrific scope. We purchased the scope for the purpose of viewing animal wildlife on our waterfront property and it has exceeded our expectation in this regard. Our only unhappiness (and we have expressed this to Barska through customer service and have received no answer – and therefore will never buy another Barska product because of the disrespect they have show us) with this product was that the pamphlet for both the scope and the tripod, were for a different scope and tripod model. We have asked for the correct pamphlets to be sent to us, with no reply. As much as we love this scope, Barska has lost a customer.

Poor customer service and instructions on how to install monoscope to tripod.
Very disappointed

so i odered this piece of crap as a gift for my uncle for his birthday and the product is broken the tripod is broken as well as the scope stay far away from that garbarge
Amber Sauer –
Very poor quality. View is very blurry even by mid range magnification. I knew it was not 1000 meter quality but was hoping it would work for us at 200 meters. WRONG! Also tripod flimsy and wobbly.

I purchased this scope to view bullet holes on targets up to 200 yards. My targets are blue silhouettes. If the target is in sunlight, I can see the holes. If overcast, it is very difficult. I suppose “splatter” targets would have been better.
Quality of the scope was fair. The glass is a bit wavy, but still usable up to the 200 yards. Beyond that…. I doubt it.
Also, the tripod is very cheap and flimsy. It does have a standard screw connector, so it could be used with a camera. I had a Nikon tripod and used that.

The unit for the money is a well worth while investment when you consider the
cost you could pay for this type of range . When you have the zoom cranked up
the eye relief is very tiny and any movement will take you off target . Over all the
spotter scope is built better than I was expecting for the price payed .

Great scope, side by side comparison I can’t tell the difference between the barska and the vortex! Glad I saved the dollars.
